Sorry I've been in my sanayeon brainrot, been reading a lot instead of writing my bad😂

This one comes with a trigger warning for rape and sexual assault. I don't personally suffer from any overt mental health problems nor am I an expert. So I hope I brought this across okay and feel free not to read.

"I know this is hard, would you be able to tell us what happened?......preferably in as much detail as possible." The woman officer questioned acting professional as ever but her voice empathetic.

Y/n lay feebly on the hospital bed, the bed covers scrunched tightly in her hands unable to meet the officers eyes and began to relive the ordeal.

"It's okay, take your time." The other officer, also female comforted. It was only the three of them in the whitewashed room, the door closed for privacy and confidentiality, the sharp lights shining the spotlight on her.

*flashback to earlier in the night*

Y/n had been out for a catch up with her closest friends, a bit of retail therapy and a whole bunch of soul food to wrap up the evening.

It was close to 10pm although it hadn't been a cold day there was a nip in the air by this time of night. The four of them separated as normal. Y/n texted her girlfriend she was heading home and proceeded to walk the way back to her car like any other time she had after seeing her friends.

Walking back to the car she hugged her jacket closer to her body feeling the nights chill wash over her. There wasn't many people fluttering around and if they were, completely minding their own business.

She had to cut through a small park, from end to end of the path it was around 200m. It is somewhere she has walked a bunch of times day or night, noticing lights were out on a couple of the lamposts.

All she heard was the faint sound of traffic nearby, as she walked further sitting on a bench was a figure right where one of the lights were out. She made nothing of it at first as he wasn't doing anything, not even looking in her direction.

Then he stood up he was a little unsteady on his feet and getting closer she saw his appearance. Looked well kempt in a business suit, his tie had been loosened and buttons of his jacket open.

He must have heard Y/n coming by this point his head lifted and both of them caught eyes. Y/n wondered what the hell he was doing randomly by himself in a park, he must have been out with some works colleagues or celebrating closing a business deal by his attire, perhaps got separated or got tired in the way home assuming he is intoxicated.

"Hey, you alright? Need me to call you a taxi?" Y/n asked wanting to make sure he got home safe.

He was quiet for a moment, Y/n almost let out a chuckle at him processing her words.

That swiftly got wiped out her mind when he stepped closer and lunged for her. Grabbing Y/n and pushing her into a nearby tree.

"HEL-"

Her cry for help was silenced when his hand went over her mouth. "Don't you dare scream."

Y/n heart rate increased rapidly her eyes wide with fear and felt the panic set in. Even the man being under the influence there was no way she was going to escape his grip or fight him off.
