Jihyo - Yin and Yang

Jihyo slung her duffle bag over her shoulder doing a quick scan of her dorm room before heading out, walking along the corridors with purpose.

Knocking on a familiar door which slowly swung open revealing her favourite person. The door barely even opened and she was stepping into the room.

"Hey Y/n!" She greeted giving a peck on the cheek, then let her duffle bag fall to the carpeted floor with a small thud.

"Hi Ji...." Y/n calmy greeted.

It was a little after noon, both of the college students had a class in the morning and Y/n decided to study after the class as mid-terms were just around the corner. While Jihyo had football practice in the afternoon, she was the captain and one of the star players in the midfield.

"You coming to practice?" Jihyo asked those chocolate eyes bright as the sun shone through the small window of the dorm room.

Y/n looked pensive but relaxed. "I was planning on studying, there is a little section that I'm struggling with and wanted to get it down."

"Oh come on Y/n!" Jihyo pouted. "It's a nice day, don't get all cooped up in your room."

Y/n glanced out the window and admitted it was a perfect day. "I'm not like you.....I don't have photographic memory, which by the way is incredibly annoying." She couldn't help a small smile rise in her face.

"Then study outside on the bleachers get some sun in your bones." Jihyo exclaimed joyfully. Jihyo was so full of life it was hard for it to not rub off on Y/n at times. "Sorry I'm just lucky....." Jihyo added with a little chuckle shrugging her shoulders.

Y/n huffed. "You make a compelling argument.......pffft lucky? I don't believe in God but somehow he blessed you in all aspects of life."

Jihyo laughed. "Maybe he did I dont know.......but I know he definitely blessed me with bringing you into my life." Rolling the cheesy line off her tongue with ease only for Y/n to lightly slap her shoulder.

"Oh shut up." Y/n blushed slightly and turned away packing up some books to join her girlfriend.

Jihyo let out her cheeky little gremlin laugh. "Okay, I'm going to quickly go to the bathroom while you pack up your stuff."

About two minutes later Jihyo reappeared but she was swinging the door of the bathroom back and forth. "You know this is broken right?"

Y/n hummed. "I do, I was going to get in touch with the maintenance guy today."

"I can fix it for you. The maintenance guy doesn't know the meaning of the word quick." Jihyo offered, another one of her skills and her impatience at waiting. "I'm not going to be late, I can see that thought on your mind."

"Sure then.....go ahead."

Jihyo perked up and shot out the door returning only minutes later with a small tool pack. She set to work with furrowed brows of concentration which Y/n silently admired. It turns out it was a quick job and it was only one of the bracket hinges needed re-screwing. Jihyo finished tightening the last screw and packed her little box away washing her hands.

"There all done, I will leave this here I can pick it up on the way back."

Y/n took a step closer admiring the handy work. "Thanks babe but if I'd known it was that simple I could have just done it myself and looked at youtube."

"Anything for you." Jihyo eased into Y/n personal space and landed a sweet kiss on her lips. "Now we can go."

The couple left Y/n dorm room and started to make their way to the football field. "Want me to carry that?" The football player asked holding her hand out.
