Xing sat in the chair by Junjie's hospital bed. Breathing tubes blew oxygen up his nose, his eyes were closed and his expression peaceful. Xing's eyes were puffy, red and full of fear. She held his hand with both of her's, the size difference wasn't much but it was still there.

"俊杰! 拜托, 醒醒吧. (Junjie! please, wake up.)" she cried. Spots on the blanket darkened from her tears. Eli Shane put his hand on her shoulder. "Xing, let him rest. He needs it." he tried. No, no I'm not leaving him." she protested. "Xing.." Eli was cut off by the girl. "Didn't you hear me? I said I'm not leaving Junjie's side!" she repeated firmly.

The blue-black haired boy held his hands up in defense. "Okay okay." The girl put her head down on her arms, quickly falling asleep. She woke up to a little squeeze on her hands. She groggily opened her eyes to find her brother's face staring back at her. "Why such a long face?" He jokingly asked. She shot up wide awake, "俊杰! (Junjie!)" she exclaimed.

The boy let out a soft chuckle as the young girl luanched herself into his arms. They both started crying. Junjie stroked his sister's head in a gentle  loving way. "I missed you so much." He whispered. She pulled away from her brother only for him to pull her back into his arms.

"Is it strange I just want to hug you?" He asked. "Not that weird." She responded with a smile. Junjie was gone for a long time but he was himself once more. He took in the sight of his sister, her bangs matching his own, but her braid reached her shoulder, tied with a small greenish teal band.

"I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." Junjie mumbled into his sister's hair. "Good, ya jerk." She fired back. The Xiao siblings were together again.

A/n: Xaio isn't actually junjie's last name, nor is Xing his little sister. Xing is my Oc. I just gave them the name because I think it's fitting.
