A month past

Ava was still being a complete bitch to Amari. He did nothing but try to make her happy but with her morning sickeness going on. She was giving him hell. He had to fly to LA a week after the clinic but he made sure called her everyday or got Zane to check on her if she didn't answer. She told her friends two weeks after and they were shocked but thrilled. When she told her parents. Her father was calm about it but her mother didn't hide her disappointment. She loved Q as much as Ava had. He was like another son to her. It made Ava guilty all over again, she hadn't even visited him at the hospital yet, she just called everyday. Today, was the day she'd promised Brandon she'd go with him. Brandon picked her up, she simply couldn't drive because Amari had personally called up all her family and told them not to let her. She hated how stern on her he was being. She knew he just wanted her and his baby to be okay at all time while he wasn't around but she still couldn't stand him at times. He was the reason she'd gotten knocked up, and the reason she probably wouldn't be with Q anymore once he woke. She couldn't help her anger at him. One time when he called, she answered already in an horrible mood. Everything had been going wrong that day. Her hair didn't come out right, she missed her nail appointment and she'd threw up on her favorite Chanel bag. "Wassup Ma? How are you? How's my baby?" He asked. She could hear the joy in his voice that she'd finally answered. She'd ignored every call for a week that week. "What baby?" She muttered bitterly. "What you mean what baby? MY baby! Stop playing with me!!!" He barked. She knew she'd upset him, he usually never yelled. "Who's playing?" She said. "Did you kill my seed Ava? Please tell me you didn't kill my baby," he said quietly, his voice breaking a little though he tried to hide it. "DID YOU?" He barked when she didn't answer. "No," she growled back. "That's not funny Ava!! I know you hate me but you can't keep doing that!! Threatening me with that! It's not fair!" He hissed angrily. She hung up on him. She felt a little guilty. She was taking all her anger out on him when they'd got in bed together. It wasn't completely his fault and deep down she knew that. "So are you nervous?" Brandon asked driving her to the hospital. "Yeah," she sighed. "What you gonna do?" He asked reaching over and rubbing her belly. Ava had gotten used to everyone huddling her, rubbing her small baby bump. "Just talk to him, take care of him. Matter of fact- I think I might spend the night here," she admitted. "Whatever floats your boat," Brandon said. He took his hand off her tummy and asked, "Are you still getting sick?" He asked. "Man, what? I just threw up before you picked me up. I hate it, it's like I lose all my energy whenever I get sick," she explained. "Why didn't you tell me, I wouldn't have stop for take out," he said. "I already knew you were coming so if I passed out or anything, you would make sure I was okay once you got there," she explained. "No- what you really need is Amari Travis here to help you, you know the season starts in a few months, you better get what you can before he really has to go," he explained. "No. Sorry, but Amari "Travis" annoys the hell outta me, I'd rather do it by myself," she said. "Girl you faking all over again, just like how you were with Q, you can't keep treating everyone like that cause of your previous relationships. You noticed you've treated every good man like trash because of the one before?" He asked. She was quiet. She'd never thought of that. She treated Q badly because she missed Johnny and was afraid of getting hurt again, now she was treating Amari like trash because she missed Q and he had a part in her wrong doings. "I just- never wanted it to get this far, I was supposed to be having fun and here I am- first guy I sleep with, I'm pregnant by," she complained holding back her tears. "I understand that Ava, but you can't do this alone. That isn't just your baby, just like it isn't just his. He has to make sure you good, in order for his child to be good, you can't keep hiding from him," Brandon reasoned. Ava wiped a tear before it felt and nodded. "I have been really mean to him these past weeks," she admitted quietly. "And you gotta fix that- he's the father of your child. If he doesn't mean anything to you, he's that," he said. "You're right," she sighed. She wasn't an evil person, she just was depressed right now. Amari randomly popping up in her life and putting his firstborn in her had her feeling like she had no control. She'd already lost her first love, and now her true love was in a coma which she'd never know when he'd wake up, and now she was pregnant with a person's baby she didn't love. She'd always wanted the white picket fence, the husband and kids, the fairy tale but now she couldn't have that with a child out of wedlock. It was just too much for her. "Avy, we're here," he said. She looked up at the hospital building and unbuckled her seat belt. "Call me if you need me to pick you up love, okay?" He asked. "Okay," she nodded. She exit the car and went inside the hospital. She went to find his room, she saw two bodyguards standing outside of it. "Excuse me," she said trying to get past them. "Last name?" One asked. "I'm his girlfriend, get the fuck outta my way," she warned. "We need your last name ma'am, I don't care if your Santa Clause," one of them responded holding a list. She eyed them, visibly fuming. "Bonetti," she said through her teeth. They stepped past. "Big ass pussies," she spat. "Yeah, yeah, spoiled brat," the other muttered. "Excuse me?! You must not know me, I body niggas bigger than you, ask about me," she growled. "Yeah well, word around the street is that you been out the game due to carrying Amari Travis's baby, not Q's so how exactly are you his girlfriend? And if you are won't be it for long," the big ugly one growled as the other one tried to calm him down. "Shut the fuck up," she said with a swift sucker punch in his mouth. He lunged at her, her arm was grabbed and she was in the room now. "ARE YALL CRAZY?! YALL wanna loose YALL fuckin jobs!?!!" An familiar deep voice hissed. She could only see the guys built exterior from behind, he was yelling at the guards who coward like little puppies under the sound of his voice. "I'm sorry boss, we lost our cool," the reasonable one of the two admitted. "Do it again, and I won't be your boss," He growled once more. They nodded. "Sorry boss," was said once more before the mystery guy closed the door in there faces. "Now you. What you here for?" The guy turned around and eyed her stopping her breath. He had a face and the body stature of a Greek God. He a mahogany, smooth skin complexion, his small almond shaped eyes were a piercing gray, he had a narrow nose and slightly bushy eyebrows that were lined neatly, two deep dimples that appeared when he spoke, his hair was cut into a fresh tape up. He had an amazing structure jawline, with a nice trimmed beard around surrounding it. He looked like a model yet rugged, his boss demeanor made him even sexier. He spoke calmer than Q. He never raced his voice. He spoke in deep baritone voice with a slight Hatian accent that held power and would make you do anything he said with one word. The slight accent even turned on Ava. Yet she had to remember who she was before she spoke. She was a Bonetti. She had power too and she was that bitch. "I'm Ava Bonetti- Q's girlfri-," she started. "You not his girlfriend for starters," he said eying her with cold eyes. He was trying to silently intimidate her but Ava never backed down to anyone. "Who the fuck are you?" She spat. She watched his perfectly structured jaw clench in anger. She could tell he wasn't used to anyone talking to him like that but she didn't care. "I'm gonna excuse the fact that you don't know me, and that you're pregnant, but I'm not Q. My tolerance for disrespect is nonexistent, so you either change your attitude and we can do this again or shit gonna go left. Do you understand?" He asked sternly staring her deadly in her eyes. She tried to find the coward in his eyes, or the lust, something she could use to her advantage but she found none. She didn't answer him though. She tried stepping around him to get to Q and he stood in her way. "Do we understand?" He asked again. She stared into his eyes for a moment, then discovered something. "Yeah, I understand, but who are you to Q again?" She asked curiously. "I'm his business partner slash his cousin, but we're more like brothers," he said. "Cousins," she said with a smirk then chuckled to himself. "Okay," she said trying to step around him again. "What are you implying?" He asked. "Who said I was implying a thing boo? Yet, guilty minds always tell on themselves," she warned. He scrunched his face up, eying her, completely confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. She chuckled again and sighed. "Nothing- but just know, I'm still gonna catch who did this to him," she hinted with a wink before she walked around him. She went over and kissed Q's forehead. "Hey baby," she said softly. He'd finally regained his color which was a good sign, but he needed grooming asap. "Wait- are you implying I had something to do with this?" He snarled. She shrugged. "Did you?" She asked. He was over in her face in a hot flash. "Need I repeat myself? I am not Q, I'll smack the shit outta your ass. I'd never do anything to hurt my brother you stupid bitch. You the same bitch who almost got him killed one time before this. I told him to stay away from easy pussy but he just don't listen-," he started until she smacked him. "I don't know what type of bitches you used to but you got the wrong one nigga!!" She growled just before he backhanded her as well. She fell to the floor, holding the side of her face in shock. "My daddy's gonna kill you," she promised. "Then Q's ass when he wakes up, you've messed with the wrong bitch," she growled, grabbing up her purse and speeding past. "Q ain't gonna claim your ass once he wakes up being that your hoe ass done went and had a baby on him, and I don't give a fuck, you may be a Bonetti, but I got shit all yall motherfuckers could never top," he warned calmly. "And what's that- jealously? How you shoot your own cousin you bitch," she said. He grabbed her neck pinning her to the wall. She got out of his hold by digging her nails in his eye sockets. She punched him in his throat and tried to run. He grabbed her by her hair and flung her into the chair he'd been sitting in, still coughing. She swung and kicked wildly. He held her down. The man had superman strength. "Calm your crazy ass down," he spat. "Get off of me!!" She yelled. "Calm down," he warned again. "Get---off of MEEEE!!!" She screeched. "Calm down," he warned yet again. She sat catching her breath just before she eyed him. "If you even think about it I'll gut your ass like a fish," he said just as she hawked up spit. "You good?" He asked letting go of her. She shoved him away. She fixed her clothes, slightly embarrassed. After all she was pregnant, it was not thinking as a mother or for her child. He stared at her and she stared at him debating each other's next move. "Get out," she warned. He chuckled and sat in a seat across the room from her. "Well I'm not leaving either but I do want you to know that I'm gonna kill your bitch ass," she warned. His jaw clenched again. "Bitch," she said again with a smirk, noticing how much her name calling got under her skin. "Let's-," he started. "Bitch," she said again. He stood and headed to the door. "I gotta leave before I shoot you in your fuckin forehead, you so lucky I knew how much you meant to Q, I would've offed your hoe ass right here," he growled at her. "I'm not no fuckin hoe you pussy," she spat back. "Yeah- you a slut, fuckin trash, you garbage," he snarled over his shoulder. She was in raged, she was soon over to him hitting at him again."HEY- HEY, HEY!!!!" She was shoved to the ground by him before she could attack him again a strong pair of arms pulled her back. "Your a pussy!!!" She growled. "You a slut bitch. Suck my dick," he spat back. She tried to get to him. She couldn't. "Both of y'all calm down," Teedo's voice warned. "What is going on in here?" Sloan asked standing in between as well. They both were trying to catch their breath but he spoke first. "Y'all know this bitch pregnant? How yall let her come up in her like she not?" He asked. "Shut up bitch, you the one put him here," she spat. He tried lunging again. Guards appeared out of nowhere blocking his path. "Look I don't know what you two got going on? But here ain't the place, yall in here fighting while Quincy's in this horrible state! Yall should be ashamed of yall selves!" Sloan exclaimed. "Wait- what do you mean, he put Quincy there?" Teedo's asked Ava. "The shooter had gray eyes just like him," she said. "I gotta get out of here before I kill this slut ass bitch man, I got to," King said, visibly fuming. "Ava, we know who shot at Quincy, and your right, the shooter had gray eyes, the shooter's name was Hector," Teedo explained to her. "You handled it already?" She asked slightly shocked. "The week after," Teedo nodded. "I told you I wanted in on it Teedo!" She explained near tears. "I know baby girl but you were in such a tragic state, I just needed you to continue being there for Q," he soothed, holding her face. He and Ava had been naturally close like that, she was like the daughter he'd never had. "It's not fair though, I wanted blood just as bad as you did. He killed half my heart too," she said not able to hide her tears. "I'm sorry sweetheart," Teedo said softly she then heard someone smack their teeth. "What is your problem?" She hissed over at him. "Is it that I'm pregnant?! Everybody knows!! I've apologized to his family, and today I built up enough strength to come and tell him, but you've been ruining my whole fuckin day! You have major issues, you pussy too, who hits a fuckin female!!" She spat. "Nah you just disrespectful! Somebody, I don't care who, put they hands on me they getting dealt with you better be lucky I ain't kill your slut ass yet," he spat. "Kill me and you won't make it past midnight," she promised. He chuckled. "Hey!HEY!!" Teedo shouted. "Yall may not know but both of your fathers and myself are close friends, yall better end this shit right now or I'm gonna seriously deal with both of yall," Teedo warned harshly. "Aye, I'm out. I ain't got shit to say to her, but make sure she's gone before I get back," he warned. "Yeah whateva," she spat back. "You gotta learn to calm down Ava. You may be a Bonetti but Carter is a Aurel," he told her. The name immediately sent chills down her spines. The Aurel drug cartel was world wide, known for being ruthless and having more riches and gold than any other cartel. They were legends, ones to not be messed with. "He's apart of that Hatian drug cartel?" She asked not hiding her surprise. "Not apart sweetheart, he's the leader. His father's just the overseer right now," he explained seriously. Ava swallowed. "How did Q get involved with them? They are crazy," she breathe. Teedo and Sloan both laughed gently. "Then Q's hid that side of him- he don't fall too far from the tree," Teedo joked. "But no seriously, you know their ranking in this game. They're not to be messed with- you need to try to get along with him as best as you could or else. Your great grandfather set the bar high for the Bonnetti name but that still doesn't run neck with the Aurel, shit my cartel doesn't either but I practically raised Carter as well as you and since 6 years ago, Q as well, yall are like my children. Just don't disappoint me, hurting each other over something petty. This can not get back to the cartel or its over for you- it's war. Them guys go crazy over their family let along their leader," he explained. She felt ultra guilty, stuck, and scared. She never felt scared. She had to fix this. Why did her temper always get her in trouble? She could have kicked herself for doing what she'd did. Here this man was the leader of the most legendary, ruthless, and most wealthy cartel their was and she was hitting him and cursing him out. "Can you apologize for me?" She asked gently. "I'll see what I can do. I know that's a big step for you so I'll definitely try," Teedo said patting her shoulder. "Your like a daughter to me," he promised. "I know Papa, and I thank you," she responded with a hug. "We were just leaving anyways, go head and talk his ear off princess," Sloan smiled at her before she hugged her. Ava smiled guilty, knowing she would. "Okay- I will, I love you guys," she promised. "We love you too," they promised as well leaving. Soon after they left, Ava sat in a chair beside Q and stared at him for a while. "My big mouth," she said sheepishly. "I didn't know you were running with people like that," she admitted to Q. "But I came to talk to you- I know you'll hate me, but it's something I have to tell you," she sniffled staring at his handsome face as he slept. She took his hand and kissed it, she sobbed softly. After a while she looked at him again. "I never cried so much like I have these past months," she said. She stared at him for a moment then blurted. "I'm pregnant Quincy," she admitted. She received no reaction but she broke down. "I'm pregnant and it's not yours. I promised that I'd give you your first child, this baby's supposed to be yours Q, I'm so sorry! I know I don't usually apologize but I'm so sorry Quincy, please don't hate me," she sobbed. She felt his fingers nudge and jumped herself. "Q?" She asked looking at his face. "Baby? Can you hear me?" She asked, touching his face. Nothing. When she realized it most likely wasn't happening again no time soon, she continued talking to him. She continued apologizing. "Give me a sign, give me a sign and I won't keep it," she said. She stared intensely, he didn't move. "I just don't know what to do- I don't know what to do," she moaned softly.
