Two months later..
"How is the baby shower coming along?" Raven asked as they spent time at the nail salon. She was getting a pedicure. "Good, I'm almost completely finish, just picking out my dress now," she smiled rubbing her belly. "I heard it's going to be as big as your party," Raven said. "It might be," she smirked. "So, how's your boo?" Ava asked, she hadn't talked to Zane in a whole day. Raven blushed. "Zay's being Zay," she said rolling her eyes. "How's your boo?" Raven asked skipping the subject. It was Ava's turn to blush. "Still sexy as hell," she said. "I know that's right," Raven laughed. "Sike nah, he's still on the road. I miss him so bad, we go from screwing like rabbits for two whole weeks to him being gone for two months. I miss him so bad I crave him. At least his arms around me," she admitted. "Awe- yall have gotten really tight, like really tight," Raven said. Ava smiled and nodded, her phone buzzed. "Speaking of him," she said eying the message. I miss you gorgeous. She blushed. He made her tingle inside. He made her hands clammy. He gave her butterflies. I miss you more Daddy. She text back and continued talking to Raven. "What type of dress have you been thinking of wearing for the baby shower?" Raven asked. "I don't know yet- it seems nothing looks right anyway," she sighed. "Girl, you're the best I seen pregnant, you haven't gained any weight except on your belly, that ass and them titties. I mean your ass is big like Morgan's now," Raven promised. Ava cracked up. "Shut up Ray, you are too much," she giggled. "After that baby, I'm gonna need you to stay in the house, cause men gonna be jumpin all over you now with that body and your face," she promised. "I don't really care about any men except Amari and my baby boy," She admitted. "What about Q?" She asked. Ava looked over at her then looked down at the lady doing her feet. "I haven't talked to Teedo or Sloan, I wouldn't even know," she sighed. "Don't beat yourself up about it, you can't go to Cuba to see him, it's not your fault," Raven said touching her friends arm. "I just feel so guilty about my happiness, he's in a coma because of me," she said near tears. "It's not because of you mama, it was his business with some other folks," Raven said. Ava was quiet. She wiped a year before it fell, she then looked over at her bestfriend. "I just miss him so much sometimes- I called Amari his name recently," she said. Raven gasped. "He didn't trip, you know Amari, he doesn't trip unless I put my hands on him," she warned. Raven giggled. "Yeah I remember," she said referring to the house warming party incident. "Did you get that hole in your wall patched up yet?" Raven giggled. "Yeah," she admitted. "He takes my yelling, cussing, screaming as long as I don't touch him. And you know me, I used to try to fuck Q ass up," Ava giggled, "Q was too damn sweet to your ass, Zane would have backhand my ass if I hit him in front of his niggas. He just carried your ass out," Raven said. "He had to, his niggas was about to kill my ass. You know Chris crazy ass don't care when it comes to fuckin with Q, I was really drunk when I hit him," she chuckled. "Yeah, you was off that lean cause them niggas crazy," Raven giggled. Ava agreed, cracking up. They spent the day together, Ava got her hair relaxed and flat ironed, it was slick straight by the time the hairdresser was done. Her hair reached the end of her back with a middle part. "You look so pretty mama," Raven exclaimed. "Your hair is so damn long and pretty Ava," she exclaimed. Ava giggled and stroke through it with her fingers. "This really looks like my five hundred dollar weave, it's usually too much to tame but I can cut this and give it to somebody now," Ava chuckled. "You better keep that hair, let Amari tug and pull that shit this weekend," Raven said. "Mm- I can't wait. He tug, pull, yank whatever he wants," she promised. "You are a true freak, can you even have sex this far along?" Raven asked. "No, it's cautionary now but I'm so horny all the time. How can I restrain from Amari's ass?" She asked. "Well you better learn," Raven warned. "If it's cautionary, you shouldn't be doing boo," Raven warned as she made her way down the sidewalk with her. They were about to go shopping now. "I know- it just seems impossible," she admitted. "You know if the Lakers win this next game, they'll be in the finals with Miami, and he can basically end the season here with you," Raven explained. "I know- I talked to him about it. I want them to win against the Clippers so bad, I warned him if they win I'd give him the best BJ of his life," she giggled. "You are so nasty," Raven giggled as well. "He's been at practice ever since," she promised. Raven cracked up. She cracked up herself. "Yall are a mess," she promised just before they entered the Jimmy Choo store. They began shopping til they dropped. Ava bought herself some new dresses and shoes for after she'd give birth and get her body back, hopefully. She knew she might be a new jean size though, her butt and boobs had gotten bigger. She was now a 34d cup, and her butt sat out now, it was plump and round. She was a little insecure about it, feeling as though she was getting fat, but Amari being Amari always made sure she knew she was beautiful at all times. She picked out clothes for Amari, and ordered custom items for their baby boy. They shopped at different stores for a few more hours and went to dinner, then parted ways. They had a blast. Ava laid in bed cuddling a pillow. Her phone buzzed. It was her father. They'd been trying to get in contact with her for over three months. She didn't want to totally cut them off but she needed to clear her head and her mind. She wasn't ready yet. She let it go to voicemail. She laid down to go to sleep but not before she sent Amari a goodnight text. She cuddled with her pillow and drifted off to sleep.
