She made her way to her store to check on things. When she got there, it wasn't as crowded as usual, it was Tuesday. It wasn't slow but there weren't tons of people either. She spotted April talking to a costumer, her young, blonde, gorgeous, college student employee who brought the men in with her flirty smile and big blue eyes. She then looked across the store to see TJ and Kaylin talking amongst themselves behind the checkout registers. TJ, was also an college student, yet he was in for his masters, he was tall, dark chocolate and handsome, he was a complete flirt, he helped draw in the women. Kaylin was what you call a "blasian," a black and Asian mixed breed. She was gorgeous, she looked like the actress Lashontae Heckard yet Kaylin didn't really have a body like Lashontae had. She was on the slim side, just chest and no booty. She brought the customers in with her smile. She was very sweet. She walked over to Kaylin and TJ. "What y'all over here chatting about?" She asked. They stood up like they'd been working. "Nothing- a little bored," TJ the most straightforward one answered. Kaylin poked him. "What? Boss sees its kind of dry, don't you?" He asked. "A little," Ava admitted, then looked around. "Where's Rachel?" She asked. "Where she always is, in the fitting room, trying on clothes," Kaylin said dryly. It was no secret Kaylin and Rachel didn't like each other and it was over one person, TJ. They didn't think Ava knew but April told her everything. Ava went to go find Rachel who was indeed in the fitting room, she was just exiting when she looked up and saw Ava. "Oh h-hey Boss," she stammered. "What did I tell you Rachel? To stop doing this right? You're missing in action, missing out my money when you're back here playing dress up," she complained to her. "I know, Ava and I'm sorry. I just thought since it was a little dry today, maybe you wouldn't mind that much," she explained. "I said no more, that's the last time I'm saying it. You bring in a lot of money but I don't mind replacing you," she warned before she walked away and into her office. She checked the business emails on her computer. She made sure everything was in order, her store was bringing in major dough, and it was getting popular. Many celebrities had popped up at her store unannounced, so many her employees weren't even star struck anymore. Hell, Ava had Karrueche, Chris Brown ex gf and Brandy, the singer on speed dial now. They'd gotten close, even went out a few time. Yet Ava circle stayed to a minimum, her true friends were her girls who were there from the beginning. The 5 amigos. After Ava handled her business she made her way to lunch to meet up with Brandon and Raven. She missed them. "Hey girly!!!" Raven exclaimed when she saw her. "Hey boo," Brandon said. "Hey babies," she said excitedly. "You look gorgeous mami," Raven promised her. "Thanks boo, so do you, both of you," she promised. "How does it feel being Mrs. Amari Travis?" Brandon teased. "You couldn't just ease in it, you had to just go right in?" Raven snapped at him. He giggles. "What are yall talking about I'm not his wife, we're not like that right now. We're friends," she smiled. "Yeah that's not what the blogs are saying," Brandon teased. "Bloggers just want a scoop. Everyone just think he has a crush on me," she said. "Besides I don't got time for all of that," she warned. "You better make time, cause everybody knows babes," Brandon promised. "So you don't know?" Raven gasped. "Know what? I'm so confused," Ava moaned. "Amari reposted the picture you posted today, caption saying "My baby momma harder than the most of you niggas," that Jay Z song," Brandon told her. "You're lying," Ava gasped pulling out her phone. "Wish I were," Brandon said. She went on Instagram and onto Amari page and sure enough it was there. She was pissed. "I'm going to fuck him up," she promised. "No, calm down Ava," Brandon said, it went on deaf ears as she stormed to the bathroom. She looked under the stalls as she dialed him luckily no one was in there. She locked the door. He didn't answer. She called again. He picked up on the second ring. "Yo," he said. "Don't yo me Amari, what the fuck is wrong with you?!" She hissed. "Yo calm down, why you yelling?" He asked. "You are such a selfish asshole!! You know how hard I've worked to get my own name now you feel like reposting my shit! I didn't want anyone to know until I was ready, we already agreed on this shit!!" She hissed. "Sorry I admired the mother of my child, I didn't know it meant that much to you," he said. She scoffed. She was furious, they'd talked about it time and time again, she wanted to get her name out there before anyone found out. She didn't want to be Amari Travis's baby mama and he knew that. "You're such a fuckin asshole, I don't ever want to see you again!!!" She yelled and hung up the phone. She knew she was overreacting but she was pissed. She managed to stay and finish lunch with Brandon and Raven, before she warned them not to talk about it. They even convinced her to go get a pedicure with them. They girl talked as Brandon watched ESPN. "These men are sexy," he said. "Yes, that's the only reason I watch this," another girl beside them. "Me too girl," her friend high fives with a loud ghetto laugh. Ava had been ignoring them, busy texting her brother about her moving arrangements until she heard Brandon say. "They doing a segment on Amari Travis, Kobe Bryant segment is afterward," Brandon said smirking at Ava. Ava looked up at the TV for the first time and eyes her child's father as he did an interview with a pretty blonde journalist.
