Ava

She cried all night that night and the whole day that next day, and the next day until she was all cried out. With the help of her girls who'd all flew down for her baby shower, she got herself together. She realized she couldn't be under any type of stress with her baby boy almost here. She sooth her mind by writing in her journal and talking to her girls, Zane and even her parents. She'd recently had dinner with them and they'd hashed everything out, there were tears and arguing but nonetheless they'd hashed everything. She honestly missed having her parents around. Talking to them and forgiving them lift a weight off her shoulders. She was still a little down from her relationship with Amari but she was learning how to accept it. She could get over a lot of things quickly and lately it was this. "Do you understand how gorgeous you look?" Raven exclaimed eying her best friend. They were in her old bedroom from when she were little. She was having her baby shower at her parents home, which was huge yet home like where she could invite loved ones and close friends. Everyone expected her to be extravagant especially since this was her first child but she wanted it to feel like home and be inviting instead of a ballroom which didn't feel like so. Brandon had once again worked his magic. He did her hair in the Veronica Lake style again which she absolutely adores, he had her make up on tee. She wore a white chiffon beaded deep v neck, Kaftan Dubai Abaya Muslim long sleeve ruched gown. The dress was flowing and sexy, she wore white Chanel flats since her belly was huge now. She also wore a gold tiara which gave away she was the mom to be. She looked absolutely gorgeous. "Thank you," she said nicely. "Oh my God mami, you look so pretty. That pregnancy glow is everything," Takari promised. "Thank you guys," she promised. "So do you know if he's coming?" Morgan asked. She'd already given the girls the 411 on everything with she and Amari. "I don't know," she sighed. "Your father will make sure of it girl, this is like him bailing on your prom or something. Mr. Bonetti gonna make sure," Brandon promised. Ava took a deep breath in and a deep breath out. She didn't know how seeing Amari would affect her but she planned to keep it at "hi" and "bye". He wanted nothing to do with her, so she'd accept it and move on. At least that's what her mind was saying. Her heart knew she craved the man and adored him to every single little detail. She just hoped she'd have the strength to stay unbothered by him. "Come on doll, the guests are waiting," Raphael warned. "Oh okay," she said. "Bye boo, we'll be waiting for you," Takari promised. "Okay, thank you guys for coming," Ava reminded. "Of course Avy," Morgan said as they exit. "Come on babes," Raphael said. She looked over at Brandon and grabbed his hand to go. "Baby girl, he can't come down with you," Raphael said as they made their way down the hall. She snapped her head over at him looking at him like he'd smacked her. "And why not?" she asked still clinging on to Brandon. "He's not the father of your child Ava," Raphael said. "I don't care," she snapped. "He's not gonna go anywhere Ava geez, Brandon, you can go downstairs and wait with the guest," he warned him. "She's going to freak if I leave her Raphy-," Brandon started. "No!!" She hissed. Raphael looked at her crazy. "Okay, Ava. You need to calm down, Brandon is not your guardian, you act like you can't do any event without him," he warned. "I don't care Raphael, I want him to come with me!" She hissed. "He's not the father of your child! And he's not even wearing white! This is absurd!! Do you understand how many bloggers are out there? How vital this is for your store or career? This has to be amazing and you're having a fit over Brandon who's wearing blue," Raphael spazzed. "Well where is the father of my child if you want everything so perfect? If he doesn't show up its already ruined, might as well have Brandon fill in for h because I'm not going without him!" She hissed. "Says who?!" Raphael hissed back. "Says-," she started. "Nobody. I'm here in my white, stop bickering and let's go," his deep voice said. Ava turned and locked eyes with the father of her child.
