Two days later, Ava and Harlem were released from the hospital. Amari picked them up from the hospital and spent as much time he could in the day before he had to fly back to LA for his home game. Ava had to get used to being a single mother almost immediately. Of course Brandon and Raven helped out even the other girls flew out sometimes but Ava did majority of the work. She fed him, bathe him, clothed him, sang to him, put him to sleep every night, or middle of the night that is. Harlem was a cranky baby. He cried a lot and she never put him down because of it, and it got worse because now, he was spoiled. He cried whenever he didn't feel her arms wrapped around him or whenever he didn't feel her warm skin. At times it was overbearing, Ava would just cry softly in her bathroom, since she never let him sleep in his own room and he slept in her room every night. She never knew being a single mother would be this tough. She also had been missing Q lately. She even thought of how good of a father Q would have been. Yeah, he worked but she knew if she'd had his child, he'd never leave the house. Here, she had a baby by a man who was on the road 24/7. He'd FaceTime her almost every night but after 2 weeks Ava got tired of him, he wasn't helping out physically so she didn't want anything to do with him at the moment. She stopped answering his calls and texts, she focused solely on taking care of Harlem now on her own and her online classes.
