The vow she took of starting a new chapter in her life, is a vow she had taken seriously. She recently started going to therapy for her depression. Mrs. Taylor, or Julie which she preferred, her therapist had advice she start writing down her feelings, working on herself, pampering herself. That's exactly what she did. She kept a notebook in her drawer, she worked out at the gym whenever Amari took Harlem for the weekend (which they'd agreed to when Harlem turned a month old), she made sure she got her body back fit and her nails, eyebrows and hair were done every week. She'd recently got her long hair cut shoulder length and curled, it fit her. She knew how fast her hair would grow back so she wasn't worried. She felt like a completely different person. She'd become a better person through the past couple of months. She'd really grown up.
