Four days later....
"I flew out here because I needed to talk to you face to face," Ava said sitting in the movie theater room, eating Sour Patch Kids candy in her child's father's 6.5 million dollar estate. "I'm sorry I flew out here without your permission but you would have told me no anyways and then I would have to wait 2 more weeks for you to come back so we could talk since I didn't want to do it over the phone," she explained. He was super cautious about everything she did, she the fact she flew across country bothered him. They'd argued about it the day before when she'd first gotten there but now she was ready to talk. "You just don't listen to anyone, and that's got to stop, Ava! I'm looking out for you and you just not listening," he hissed. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "All you do is roll your eyes and walk away, you act like a child- a spoiled brat! I may make it worse in the future because I spoil the important women of my life but you need to know the world doesn't just revolve around you. We have a child together now Ma, we gotta at least get along for their sake," he explained. She sighed and looked over at him. "I know," she admitted with a sigh. "No! Your just-" he started then stopped himself. "Wait what?" He asked not hiding his shock. She never agreed with him, usually all they did was fight not agree, this was weird. "I know we have to get along for our baby, that's what I came here for," she admitted. He stammered admitted a little. "Oh okay," he finally said. She giggled knowing he was surprised she'd only shown him her angry side and now she was being gently and kind. "I know I've been a complete bitch to you these past weeks but I've just been trying to digest the situation, I guess God wants me to be in relationships forever because the first time I step out, I can't step out for another nine months," she laughed softly. He shook his head with a smile, waiting for her to continue. "I understand now that this is also your baby and I won't hold you back anymore. If you want to see him or her anytime after their born, you can, I'll never stop you. I've always had a nice relationship with my parents and I want our child to experience that as well. Since I never apologize like I have been this past month, I wanted to say I am deeply sorry for hurting you in any type of way- and if you know me, you know an apology is a lot coming from me and I deeply mean it," she explained. "I appreciate it Ma, I really do, but that's just it... I don't know you, and for the sake of this baby, we need to know each other a lot better than we already do. I want to be the best father and best friend I can be to you unless it goes further-," he said. She started to protest. "You never know what'll happen in the future- you never know if it's God's will. You just gotta pray about it Ma, we should start doing that too, praying together. For our baby of course," he explained with a soft smile. She eyed him with a smirk. A praying man had always been on her wish list. He was trying to get brownie points. He was too smooth with it, she didn't even trust herself around him but she'd never let it show. "You wanna start now?" He asked extending his hands. She was hesitant but she took them.
"Dear God,
Firstly we wanna thank you for blessing us with a child. We know things happen for a reason and this may have been your will. We both have a lot of growing to do. I come before you now as your child asking for favor. I ask you lead us to do the right things and make the right decisions throughout this journey. I ask for an healthy baby, that looks like me because Ava's head is way too big.
Ava snickered then covered her mouth.
Excuse Ava, she's quite new to this but I just ask of those things God. We love you and will forever give your name praise. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
"Amen," she said then nudged his arm. "My head's not big," she said. "I know- I was just teasing. Your gorgeous, if we have a girl I hope she looks just like you, yet be nice like me," he admitted. She blushed. "And if we have a boy?" She asked. "He's gonna be a basketball player just like me," he said. "Oh God," she giggled. He stared at her. "What?" She asked. "You so damn stunning that's what," he said. She blushed again. "Thank you," she said softly. She melted under his glare. It had been 5 weeks since she had some loving, and her hormones were raging. Her Greek God built baby father's intense stare didn't help either. "Come here," he murmured with lusty eyes. She shook her head no with a small smile. "Get over here," he said more as a demand. She smirked and got up, she slid in his arms. "What do you want?" She asked murmuring to his lips. "You, Ava you sexy as hell," he said rubbing her butt. "Too much?" He asked. She nodded. He stopped rubbing it. She smirked at him as he licked his lips. The sexual tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. She bit her bottom lip and felt his member growing. "Gimme a kiss," he murmured. She shook her head no. He smacked her butt. "Give me a kiss," he said harder. She leaned in and sucked his bottom lip, she gave him slow sensual kisses. He rubbed her butt and made out with her as she grinned on him. He pulled away and dipped his head in her neck, kissing and sucking her neck, leaving a trail down her chest. He stood them up swiftly and carried her to his nearest bedroom. She french kissed him. He lay her down on the big King bed when he reached the nearest guest room. He undressed her swiftly until she was down to her birthday suit. He licked his lips and she bit her own. He pulled off his shirt. She instantly soaked his bed. He was so damn fine. He undressed, his monster was huge. She was turned all the way on. He bent over her and began kissing down her body. He made love to every part of her body with his mouth. He had her humming and screaming. "Ohhh-my God" she moaned out, her legs shaking uncontrollably as she erupted. He then climbed over her. "Can I do this without a condom?" He verified. She looked hesitant. "What could happen that hasn't happened?" He asked. She agreed. Hell, she was already pregnant. "But have you fucked somebody since me?" She asked. "No, I promise. I've been busy training," he promised. He had truthful eyes. She sighed then nodded. He entered her. They both gasped. "You so damn tight," he moaned. She bit her lip as he began giving her deep baby making strokes. She hummed. He had the magic stick. His sex game was near Q's, not on his level yet but he was close and as an addict, she felt like she was on a high as he gave her what she needed. He made love to her body so good, she almost said the "L" word to him. "You love this shit boo?" He asked stroking her womb, having her on edge. "You love my dick?" he asked. "Mmm- I lo-, mmmm," she moaned out as he hit it from the side. He gripped her neck and bit it. She loved his roughness. "Unhhh-" she moaned holding the side of his neck. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head. He grunted as he pound faster. She squeezed her cat muscles and met his strokes as she felt herself on the verge of erupting. "Shit-," he moaned. "Mm- I'm there Daddy!! I'm there!!!" She moaned out, shaking uncontrollably. She had a 30 second gushing eruption. He was shortly after her. They laid on their back panting. He fell asleep shortly after. She giggled softly when she noticed it. She stared at him for a moment. She'd never really notice how ridiculously handsome he was until now. He slept with an adorable pout expression. She giggled quietly. He looked adorable. His sex was amazing and he was genuine and sweet. For some other girl, by now they'd be falling for the man but she couldn't even think about going there. She had too much on her plate and she still loved Quincy with her whole heart. It wouldn't hurt to have Amari as a stress reliever whenever she needed until Quincy woke up. She was still single until then, in her mind. She looked down at her stomach and began thinking of her baby. She rubbed her stomach and wondered what the gender was. She didn't really care, she knew she'd love the baby either way. She would love her baby like her parents did her and by just knowing Amari just a little she could tell he would make a great father. He was sweet and caring, protective yet gentle. The only thing she would let him have right now was a friendship. That's all it could go to. Ava ended up spending the night. She went to make dinner shortly after their sexual capades. She made some smothered steaks, baked macaroni, yams, greenbeans and cornbread. She fixed their plates and poured a tall glass of wine for him and a tall glass of apple juice for herself. She took his plate to him and say it on his side dresser, she nudged him. "Wake up bighead," she said. He groaned. "Wake up," she said again. "I made dinner," she said. His eyes fluttered open. "You bullshittin," he said in a groggy voice. "I did," she giggled pointing over to his dresser. "Oh shit, Ma. Thank you- haven't had a home cooked meal in what feels like a decade," he praised. "You're welcome bighead," she said softly flipping through the channels. "What you wanna watch on Netflex, nothing's on TV-," she started. "You ever seen Avengers?" He asked. "Aww- no, I saw the previews when it first came out but your a nerd," Ava teased. He smiled guilty. "It's a cool movie," he shrugged. "We can watch it," she shrugged. "Aight," he smiled taking the remote from her. "Hey," she whined. "Sorry, I know a quicker way to get to it," he admitted. She let him. They were soon watching it. They chatted some through the movie and laughed at each other. After the movie they started talking about their personal life. SHe told him the basics, her age, full name, where she was born and raised. She told him how she was raised with both parents, how Zane was her brother but also her best friend. She didn't really get deep into anything, just let him know the basics. "I can find everything you told me on your Facebook, tell me real shit- I ain't gonna judge you Ma, I'm the last to judge," he promised. She eyes him very hesitant. "Fine- I'll tell you my shit, maybe you'll be more comfortable," he said. He took a breath and start talking. He told her how he was born and raised in Chicago. He was had a little sister named Khloe. He told her how he and his baby sister lived with his grandmother since the age of 12 and his little sister was 4, where his mother was strung off crack and couldn't raise him. His father was locked up for murder. How when they lived with his mother, they'd go days without eating, how they'd lived in the slums of Chitown sleeping on the floor with rats and cockroaches while his mother was out looking to fix her high. One day, he'd woken up to police searching for his mother, they'd saw him and his baby sister dirty, hungry and laying on the floor and they took them to child protective services. His grandmother on his mother's side found out and immediately took them in and he'd been grateful to her ever since. He explained how she lived in the slumps as well but she always had a hot meal on the table, how retirement checks wasn't helping, so he had to start selling drugs to support them. He was good at what he did and he was bringing great money in, though his grandmother begged him not to, and on his free time he'd play basketball on the neighborhood court. He fell in love with the sport, and not a body in the neighborhood or on another side of Chicago could beat him. His senior year of high school, a coach from Alabama State University, offered him a full basketball scholarship after seeing him play on the neighborhood court 3 on 1, where he won alone. He could tell by the jewels on Amaris neck that he was into what every other thug was into doing. Selling drugs. So he made him choose. Amari chose basketball, and had been the best ever since. Ava looked at him in awe. She respected him much more now. She also adored how he spoke about his sister and grandmother, she could tell he was very overprotective of them. Yet, he was right. The story made her open up more about her own life. She admitted to him what she did for a living, she expected him to snap like Q yet shockingly he didn't. He just asked one question. "You don't do it now do you?" He asked. "No," she responded sternly. She explained to him how dangerous it was yet it kept her bank account lovely, and it helped her with her hurt and anger she had against the men who killed her first love. She told him about how bad it affected her. How heavy her heart has been lately with the same thing going on with Quincy. She told him about Quincy being in a coma and how he'd gotten in that state. She told him about how she felt guilty, how horrible she acted in the relationship. After Johnny, her abandonment issues were severe, so when Q went into a coma, it was the icing on the cake. She explained how she hated letting people in because of it, guys especially. "I may have had my Dad growing up, but my parents are always in Colombia, while me and my brother grew up here. It's like they never had time for us. I think another reason why I take on my job is for that bond with my father, it's something we can talk about," she admitted. "Everybody's not out to leave you or hurt you Ava, you gotta accept the past and better yourself, forgive them and better yourself. Forgive the men that hurt your past dude and the dude in the coma now, forgive your parents and work on yourself love. That's the only way you can get past this. That's what I had to do. I had to forgive my mother. I had to forgive my father for never being there as well, and today I'm a happy and better person because of it," he explained, giving his first response since she'd began talking. She looked at him, tears welling in her eyes. "I don't know if I can Amari," she admitted chewing on her bottom lip. "You can Ma, I'm telling you. You can!" He said. She shook her head. "I can't-," she said voice breaking. "They hurt me too bad, they all have," she said as he pulled her to her arms. "I can't forgive like you can, it's too hard," she said burying her face in his chest, hitting it. He held her tightly, a caring, loving hug and she broke down. She started crying hard. He just held her. She cried herself to sleep in his arms.
