Chen Yue flopped onto the couch like he owned the place, completely comfortable, which instantly made me suspicious.

"Why do you look so smug?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"Oh, no reason," he said with a smirk. "Just hanging out. With my favorite person."

Jake, sitting next to him, gave him a sideways look. "Dude, you literally texted me to meet up today."

Wait.

Wait.

I blinked. "You two... are hanging out? Alone?"

Chen Yue smirked. "Yeah? Why? You jealous or something?"

My brain short-circuited. "W-WHAT? JAKE?!"

Jake looked just as confused as I felt. "Why are you screaming my name like that?"

I pointed between them wildly. "You and Chen Yue—ARE YOU TWO DATING?!"

The room went silent.

Ethan coughed to the side, definitely holding back laughter.

Chen Yue burst out laughing, while Jake's face morphed into absolute horror. "WHAT THE—MIA, NO. EW."

Chen Yue, wiping away fake tears, shook his head. "Wow, Mia. I had no idea you thought we had that kind of connection. I'm flattered."

Jake looked like he was about to combust. "I AM STRAIGHT."

I covered my face. "I—IT JUST LOOKED—YOU TWO ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER!"

Ethan was actually laughing now, shaking his head. "This just made my entire night."

I groaned. "I'm leaving. Immediately. Forever."

Jake muttered, "Please do."

Chen Yue winked. "Love you too, Mia."

And just like that, I realized my so-called love triangle was just a big fat joke. Maybe my life wasn't a K-drama after all.

But honestly?

I was so okay with that.
