Aarushi
It was the moment he had been waiting for, his match, one that held the weight of countless expectations. The crowd, already buzzing with excitement, erupted into a loud cheer, a mix of admiration and anticipation for what was to come.
With his bat in hand, he felt a surge of energy coursing through him, his determination unshakable. His focus was razor-sharp, his mind clear, as he prepared to face the bowlers. There was something about his presence, an undeniable aura of confidence and skill that seemed to radiate from him. The match was more than just a game; it was a defining moment, one that would leave a lasting impression on everyone who witnessed it.
My man.
As the match began, everyone settled down with their finger's crossed. Our school has been in the top for years and losing this match could risk it all.
The match started with a brilliant six by my boyfriend. The ground erupted in cheers.
Everyone in our school was overjoyed as Aadi kept on hitting. 2 more runs for his century. I squealed in excitement.
"Century." I exclaim as I jump up and down.
"Tu itna Khush kyu hori hai?" Aditi asks.
"It's our school's match, why wouldn't I be happy."
"Or It's Aadi's match that is why you are happy?" She questions back.
"Well, you can say it like that." She glares at me in shock.
"Bitch. When did this happen?" I giggle thinking about yesterday.
"We'll talk later, let me focus on the match."
"Or on your man?" She asks which made me blush.
"Oh my God! Aarushi you are blushing?! This is sick." I glare at her.
"Shut the fuck up." She just rolled her eyes. Karan was on strike and Aditi immediately diverted her focus on the match.
She looks at him with so much love.
"Jeet Gaye." Everyone exclaims.
Aadi turns his face to me with a bright smile. I return the smile but not long when everyone notices Aadi smiling and turn to see the person. I was quick in escaping from there.

Aadi's Pov
All the people on the ground, my eyes only search for her.
Where did she go?
I excuse myself from there and go around in the corridors to find her.
Everything feels effortless when she is by my side. Her presence brings a sense of calm and happiness that makes every challenge seem insignificant. Her smile, in particular, is the one thing I’ve always longed to see, and it means the world to me. It's the ultimate reward, the one thing I want to witness after hitting a century. It’s as though her smile validates all the hard work and makes every achievement feel complete.
I peep in our class to see her studying. How innocent is she.
"I am coming in, mam." I announce and mam looked shocked. She just stood there, trying to take in the reality.
"Aadi?! You in the class? Oh my God! I can't believe my eyes."
"It's good to give surprises, mam."
My eyes instinctively searched for her across the classroom, hoping to catch a glimpse. And there she was, completely absorbed in her studies, her attention fixed on the pages in front of her, unaware of my gaze. Not even a glance in my direction. I stood there for a moment, feeling a mix of curiosity and anticipation, before making my way to my bench. The intention was clear, to make my presence known, even if she remained unaware. I hoped that somehow, she might notice me, or at the very least, feel my presence in the space between us. But for now, I sat down, watching her quietly, unsure of the next step to take.
"Hi sweetheart." I whisper near her ears. She turns back with a shock.
"Aadi? Why are you here?"
"Because you are here. Isn't it obvious?"
"I mean you should be with your friends, celebrating." She whispers. I feel surge of happiness wash over me when she is so close to me.
"But__
"Mam." Avinash enters the classroom in a hurry. He looks at us then again looks at Mam. "Coach is looking for Aadi and Aarushi has to report to the principal." Aarushi gets up with a groan. I couldn't help but chuckle. She is so cute.
We leave the class and when I looked at her. She was tired.
"Let's go." I say.
"But we have to go to the principal's office." She whines.
"Umm. No we don't." Avinash replies. Aarushi turns to him with a dangerous glare.
"I'll kill you." She screams. He makes her turn towards me.
"It was him." He points to me. Traitor.
"I am gonna kill you both." She yells. We both run towards the canteen as she follows.
Aarushi's Pov
As I reach the canteen, I see everyone chilling. Why did I go in the class?!
Even Aditi and purvi were present with Aadi's friends. I settle down with them.
Awkward silence.
"Guys, don't you all think Aadi looks a little too happy today." Rahul, one of his friend says.
"I made a girlfriend." He says proudly. I glare at him sternly.
As much as I want to admit it to the world I can't. A private relationship holds more value and meaning.
I may be modern but there is still a side in me that believes in NAJAR
"Shit. We were rooting for you and Aarushi." Other one says.
"That's a good thing, we have a chance with Aarushi." Rahul jokes and I roll my eyes.
"In your dreams." I mumble.
"Stay away." Aadi warns.
"What? You got a girl right? Wait. Is she Aarushi?"
"Noo." I state loudly.
"Then who is she?" Karan asks.
"She is a girl who captivates with her beautiful eyes, which seem to reflect her inner beauty. Beyond her physical appearance, what truly stands out to me is her heart, which is pure and innocent. She possesses a rare kind of goodness, always acting with kindness and sincerity. Whether it's her actions, decisions, or the way she handles situations, she does everything with grace and perfection. I feel incredibly fortunate and blessed to be in a relationship with someone as wonderful as her. Her presence in my life makes me feel like the luckiest person."
I was dumbstruck by his words. Never in my life has anyone made me feel so loved, so special.
My eyes become watery as I hear him. Everyone looks at me.
"You fine?"
"Yeah. Excuse me." I walk away with my heart full of love.
