Aarushi
How could I even except to have a peaceful holiday. I had to go to school because we have match and I'll have to handle everything. When did Avinash do something on his own.
As soon as I sit in the canteen, my eyes found his. He looked exhausted probably because of match stress. He immediately looked away. No cheesy grin. No classic smirk, not even a smile. Am I the reason? But then again, Myra was sitting in their group. Myra is beautiful and popular, just his type. But why does it hurt when they are together.
"Aaru, let's go and eat with Karan's group." Aditi nudges my arm. Both of my friends looked ever ready to go.
"Umm, guys actually I don't feel like eating. You both go and join, I have some work to do." I excuse myself from there. She did try to stop me but I didn't bulge. I don't want to go near him. It is better we stay away. I find an empty classroom to complete my work.
Just as I started with my work, someone kept the food on the table with a thud. I look up to find,
Aadi.
"Eat." Was all he said before walking away aggressively. Why does he still care? Why is he doing this? I don't want to fall for him, again. It was already difficult for me to stop the growing feelings.
"Will everything be done on time? How will we do this?" Miss Williams says. "First match of the tournament is in our school. We have to be the best."
"Mam, calm down. Everything will go smoothly." I tried to assure mam when in reality even I was nervous.
"Aarushi, you'll do everything right?" She asks holding my hand. Everything? Just me? I wanted argue but all I said was...
"Yes mam, I'll do everything."
"Thank you, beta. I'll go look at other things." She says before leaving. What a day! Ugh.
I started reading the schedule on my way to class when I dashed with someone hard. "Who the__ " I look up to find Aadi.
"Sorry." He says and leaves without even looking at me. Ouch. This hurts. Even Aadi's sorry sounds unusual. His silent treatment is more annoying than his smirk. I rather hear him speaking my whole life than being given silent treatment.
Oh Aadi, how do I tell you that perhaps
I like you too..

It's 6:00 and I am still at school working. But I am not complaining. The view in front me is appealing. Aadi practicing cricket. I am not going to deny that he looks ravishingly hot even while covered in sweat. The way his sweat laden jersey shows his body. There is reason why girls drool over him.
What the hell am i doing? Get a grip aarushi. You have dreams to chase, stop obsessing over a guy. But what can I do when he is so good. Today I am gonna go home and read fictional books and make my standards reach the clouds.
"Aarushi, you'll have to collect the schedule report from the principal's office." Someone comes and informs me.
"Yeah, I'll talk to the coach, confirm everything and will be on my way." I reply and start to walk towards the coach. That stupid Avinash always runs away. Someday I'll beat him up so much. He does it eveytime.
I discuss everything with the coach and when I look up, I see a flying bat coming towards me. Bird Dekhi thi, chappal bhi Dekhi hai lekin flying bat is new. Before I could contemplate something, I pulled aside by someone. The touch felt like, Aadi. As he pulled me aside, I lost my balance and so did he which resulted in both of us falling on each other. I fell on him but I didn't care. I looked at his eyes which were so cold today. It's like he has become distant in a span of day. Whatever it is, he still cares. Everytime there to save me. How does he do this?
I suddenly heard someone clear their throat and we quickly got up, embarrassed.
"Thanks." Was all I could say. He nodded in response. "You all gonna play with these players?" I asked horrified by the flying bat.
"They are just beginners, not in the team. You fine?" He asks.
"Yeah, thanks to you."
"You got a scratch on your hand." He points to the tiny scratch I got.
"Oh that, it's nothing." I say to earn a glare from him.
"Jeez. Don't look at me like that. I'll put a bandage on."
"Go safely." He replied. I don't understand if this is sarcasm or care.
"Aadi, I _
I tried to say something but he left.
I reach my house exhausted. I crash on my bed when my eyes land on my guitar.
Taylor swift is the best escape from reality.
I take my guitar and sing fortnight.
All my morning are Mondays stuck in an endless February.
I took the miracle move on drug, but the effects were temporary.
And I love you, it's ruining my life.
I touch you, for only a fortnight.
But I touched you...
"Aarushi" my mom called for me.
"Yes?"
"What are you doing?" She asks.
"Nothing."
"Come down." Was all she said. I had to keep guitar and feelings aside and go down.
Maybe it's supposed to be like this.
