Sasuke and Sakura: Friends or Foes

It was early in the morning, Naruto and (y/n) were having breakfast. Getting ready for the day, today was no ordinary day, well kinda it was still was ordinary, but today was the day were all the ninjas that graduated not so long ago get their assigned squad.

The two were walking to the academy, and then Konohamaru came out of hiding and yelled, but fell. Again. "Good morning, Konohamaru!" (y/n) said. The three had a quick chat about them being Ninjas, and soon left.

Naruto and (y/n) were sitting at their desks, until Shikamaru told Naruto what he was doing there, telling him to not be there unless you graduate. Which once again lead Shikamaru to get hit in the head with a pan by (y/n).   "You're such a troublesome, (y/n)." Shikamaru whined, rubbing the back of his head.

A pink haired girl, and blonde girl came running from the halls to the class, their names were Ino and Sakura, the two where rivals, somewhat. Naruto had a crush on Sakura for a while now.

Sakura was looking to where Naruto and (y/n) were sitting, "Hey sis, I think she likes me in this headband." Naruto told his sister, (y/n) sighed.

Sakura ran to where the twins were sitting "Hello Sakur-" The twins were cut off and were pushed away.

"Good morning, Sasuke." she said to Sasuke Uchiha, the most handsome boy in the class, everyone would kill to sit next to him. Sasuke looked at Sakura, a plain expression on his face. "Mind if I sit next to you?" Sakura asked, Ino approached Sakura "Back off forehead! I'm sitting next to Sasuke, I was here first. All the girls then started fighting, Naruto and (y/n) were still on the floor, due to Sakura pushing the two.

(Y/n) never liked Sasuke, well she did, but as a classmate, (a/n I mean idk tbh) Naruto was jealous about Sasuke's attention from Sakura.

Naruto stood from his position on the floor, and got up on Sasuke's desk, and stated into his eyes, fiercely. Till pinkie decided to speak again "Naruto! Stop glaring at Sasuke!"

Naruto didn't mind her plea, and then started looking at Sasuke again.

Till a boy in front of Naruto pushed him, making him lean on Sasuke's face, which lead to the two kissing.

"Naruto you are so dead." Sakura told Naruto. "Now, Now calm down ladies this something we don't need to fight about " (Y/n) said nervously, getting infront of Naruto in case they tend to hurt him.

"It was an accident!" Naruto fought back, putting his hands up.

Sakura started cracking her knuckles. "You're finished!"

"Hold on, it wasn't his fault, ya know! Gee, you all fight about the same boy over and over again, it's kinda annoying, ya know?" (y/n) insisted. Smiling as she thought she finally made them quiet.

"You probably want Sasuke all for yourself!" The group of girls yelled.

Well, lets say it didn't end up well for the Uzumaki's.

"As of today you are all ninjas." Iruka-Sensei told the class, talking about the hardships of being a ninja.

"All the genin are going to put on three-man squads. Each squad will be lead by a Jounin, an elite ninja." Iruka-Sensei said.

"Huh?" Naruto and (y/n) said at the same time, the twins got beaten up by all of Sasuke's fangirls, sadly. But once they heard "three-man squad" their eyes darted to Iruka-Sensei, who was now recovered from the incident with Mizuki.

"Well, someone is going to in Sasuke's group." Ino smirked at Sakura.

"I wanna be with Sakura, and my sister, well I don't care unless I don't get paired up with Sasuke." Naruto thought, a smile showing on his face.

"No! Three-man squad? Well, i'm fine with whoever I get paired with, but what about Naruto?" (y/n) told herself, her hands cupping her face.

"We want each squad to be a balanced of strength and ability." Iruka-Sensei quipped.

"I will now announce the squads"

"Squad 7, this group will be a squad of four, due to odd number of students. The group will consist of Naruto and (y/n) Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno."

"Yeah!!!" Naruto exclaimed.

"And Sasuke Uchiha."

damnit

"Yay!!" Sakura cheered.

Naruto and (y/n) faces who were once held high in excitement were now collided with the desk. "We're doomed."

After Iruka-Sensei named off all the squads. Naruto insisted on being on Sasuke's squad.

"Iruka-Sensei why does a ninja like me have to be in the same squad as a slug like Sasuke?!" Naruto said.

Sakura's eyes darted at Naruto.

"What a drag." (y/n) said, the same tone as Shikamaru's uses when he says that.

"Sasuke had the best score in the class, while you and your sister had the worst ones." Iruka-Sensei said. (More like slayed)

(Y/n)'s left eye twitched. "HEY! But didn't I make like 10 shadow clones?!" But she knew the class wouldn't believe her, so she put hands on her face. Meanwhile all the students laughed at Sensei's comeback.

"We put the worst students with the best students."

"It's taking every cell in my body not to clap back right now." (Y/n) thought.

"Just make sure you two don't get in my way, losers." Sasuke said, casually.

"Hey what did you say?!" the twins said at the same time, "hard of hearing?" was all Sasuke said. "Yeah boy! Repeat what you just said I dare you!" (Y/n) yelled, Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"Hey knock it off you two, sit down!" Iruka yelled. After clearing his throat he continued.

"After lunch, you are all going to meet your Jounin teachers, until then, class dismissed."

"So this is where Naruto and (y/n) live.." the fellow sensei of squad 7 said, looking around the apartment (y/n) and Naruto Uzumaki lived in.

" Yes, they'll be on your team along with Sakura and Sasuke." Lord Hokage told him. "Alright then.."
