Secret is Out

"Man, this is wack." I said, dragging my backpack. The only reason why I'm acting like a total brat is because Lady Tsunade send me out with Jiraiya-Sensei because of hideout or something.

But Tsunade knows damn well that I'm not going in no hiding.

"Where are we even going? We've been walking for like 10 hours, ya know." I whined even more, cause even if am a ninja, a frickin' Uzumaki I cannot handle walking so long because I have nothing exciting to look out for.

"We've been walking for 20 minutes." Jiraiya said, "but don't be so bummed out!"

"Tsunade barely explained anything, so I'll explain everything!" Jiraiya said excitedly, my eyes lit up.

"Finally! Is it good news? I haven't heard anything good in a while, ya know!" I said happily, gaining a little bit of energy. "Let's start off by getting something to eat first?"

"They have some bomb ramen here." I said, as Jiraiya explained the situation. "So basically, if we don't get so attacks from the Akatsuki in the next month, you're allowed to go back to the village, plus we'll have a couple of people joining us."

"Huh? Who are the other people?"

"Is that a good idea though?" Kiba said scratching his head, "It is. She needs extra protection meanwhile Jiraiya is out."

Yamato deadpanned, the hell of a mission it was just trying to find the Akatsuki's hideout.

"But she's strong enough-" Shikamaru said before behind cut off by Tsunade, "This is why I assembled this group! You're not gonna stay there as long as she is! Since Jiraiya himself has a mission to go to, you'll be guarding for a couple of days."

The group consisted of Kiba, Shikamaru, and Neji. "Kiba, you can smell the track they went, Shikamaru with your shadow possession Jutsu and intelligence and Neji with his Byukugan to help out. It's the best protection for (Y/n)."

Neji looked at Tsunade confused, "Why would she need the extra protection when you know she's strong enough?"

Tsunade sighed, "The Akatsuki are on the loose again. And they are after the Leaf Village and the twins."

"So, I'll be training again?" I asked, walking alongside Jiraiya Sensei. "But with an octopus...?"

"Yup!" Jiraiya said, smiling and giving me a thumbs up, I laughed. "Alright then! Lead the way!"

"This is such a drag." Shikamaru said, following behind Kiba and Neji. "Be quiet, isn't (Y/n) your girlfriend or something?" Kiba teased.

Neji raised his eyebrow, "You and (Y/n) are dating?" Kiba started laughing, "he doesn't have the guts to ask out someone as pretty as (Y/n)."

Neji nodded his head, "(Y/n) is way over your league." Shikamaru raised his eyebrow, "And you're not?"

Akumaru barked, "That's right! It's obvious she likes me the most of out all of you." Kiba smirked.

"I'm her friend unlike both of you." Shikamaru said, walking ahead of Kiba and Neji. "This is such a drag."

Yamato had a disgusted expression on his face. "It had to be me."

"Listen, Naruto is not gonna be left in the village all alone, in fact I'm going to train him at Mount Myōboku." Jiraiya explained, "Oh, I guess that makes me feel better."

"But who exactly is this octopus?" I asked, scratching my head,

"I'm thinking of this in a wrong way." I thought to myself, sweat-dropping.

Jiraiya-Sensei chuckled, "I'm just kidding! You'll be training with Killer Bee. The Jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails." I gasped, "There's an Eight Tails?!"

"Follow my lead! I can sense Jiraiya and (Y/n) smell from here!" Kiba said, jumping from branch to branch. He looked down and saw the glimpse of long red hair that he knew far too well.

"There they are!" Kiba yelled, jumping down, the rest following behind, "(Y/n)-Chan!"

"I'm surprised they didn't went so far." Yamato thought to himself. Walking towards the group.

"Huh? Kiba what are you doing here?"  I asked the Inuzuka. "Lady Tsuande sent us out to company you." Neji explained. "You're here too? Shikamaru too?!"

Until I saw Captain Yamato. "YOU BROUGHT HIM TOO?!" I fake fainted and Jiraiya-Sensei caught me. "You must be Yamato." Jiraiya said.

I stood up, "Yup! And that's Shikamaru, Neji and Kiba." I said, "You must be Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sanin." Neji said, while Shikamaru kept a smug look on his face.

"You're correct! The Toad Sage!"  Jiraiya later looked at Yamato seriously, "We have to talk about mission."

Kiba walked up to me, "So, where are you going this time?" I shrugged, "To train with the Eight-Tails."

Kiba, Neji and Shikamaru all deadpanned. "There's an eight tails?" Neji asked, Shikamaru sighed even more. "What a drag."

I had the worst writers block writing the end of the chapter 😪 I thought way ahead that I forgot I didn't mention how they got to Killer Bee lmao
