Land Ahoy! This Isn't Paradise!

"Take notes Kiba, Neji here doesn't smell like dog and cologne. He just smells like cologne!" I said, Neji was giving me piggyback ride now, "You too, Shikamaru! This is how you give a piggyback ride, not just dropping me to the ground whenever you say so!"

I patted Neji's shoulder, "you're the best out of those dobes, ya know." Neji smiled, "I know that far too well."

Mission Day 1

"Bye, Jiraiya-Sensei! Take care, ya know!" I said I was took step into the ship. "I'm gonna get sea sick!" Kiba yelled as Akamaru whined. Jiraiya waved goodbye back. "Yamato, take care of her! She's no caged bird!" Jiraiya ordered, and Captain Yamato nodded. "Will do!"

Neji and Shikamaru sighed. "I could be at home right now." Shikamaru said, while Neji hummed. "Honestly, I've got nothing to do back in Konoha besides train with Lee. So I guess it's a win-win." Kiba was now on the rear of the boat, throwing up. Since the boat started moving and boarding, it was getting shaky. I patted his back hard, almost making him fall off the boat. "The boat has barely moved! Toughen up, Kiba!"

Mission Day 4

"What?! I'm leaving the village too?!" Naruto yelled, which could be heard all over the Hokage's building. An annoyed Tsuande, who was using her hand as support to hold her face sighed. "Once Jiraiya gets back."

"B-but! I just got back from saving Gaara! And trying to save Sasuke-" Naruto argued. "I want to relax, Granny Tsuande!"

Mission Day 8:

"I'm hungry.." Shikamaru muttered, as he played a game of rock, paper, scissors with all of us. Yamato included. "Rock, Paper, Scissors!"

"Ha! We all got rocks!" I said, pointing at Neji who had scissors. Neji currently had his Byakugan activated since this was about the 50th do-over. A discouraged Neji finally called quits. "Aww! C'mon Neji!" We all whined. "I can't believe we've reached this level of boredom." Yamato stated. "I can't either, ya know."

Mission Day 10:

"Please start preparing to disembark!" One of the ninja who was controlling the ship said. Captain Yamato and I were talking about how the island was going to be pleasant and relaxing.  "I can see the island..!" Neji declared, pointing at the destination. Quickly getting to his side of the ship, I looked ahead. "No kidding!" I said, looking out in awe.

Later to deadpan.

"An island paradise... Ya know..?" I repeated, sweatdropping, with a vein popping out. "It's like the Hidden Leaf's Forest of Death!" The Iwagakure nin, who was controlling the ship pointed out. "But it's a bit more extreme." Continuing to look at the ugly excuse of a resort, the Iwagakure nin went on. "But don't worry, Rapunzel. It's safe. As long as you don't disturb, the creatures are quite docile. Except for one-"

"What do you mean, 'except for one'?!" Neji and Kiba asked.

"What part of this place is a paradise?!? You're a fool, Ugly Toad Sage!" I yelled out to the open air. Until a something started popping out of the sea. My eyes widened from excitement, "Octopus! Is that you!?"

"Alright then, Sir Octopus teach me everything!" I exclaimed. With Yamato on my side feeling unease.  "Uh! That can't be him, can it, (Y/n)!?" A frightened Inuzuka asked. "Uh.. (Y/n), that's actually-!" Shikamaru yelled. "A squid!!" Yamato immediately said. The waves the squid created made the ship stir. Squinting, I began counting how many tentacles the thing had, "One, Two, Three-"
