Preliminary Test

"This location, is for the second phase of the test, to the 44th battle training zone, but we call it "The Forest of Death" Anko said, slightly smirking.

Naruto and (y/n) analyzed the Forest of Death, both had frowns on their faces; Sakura had a frightened look on her features, and Sasuke, well he kept his cool. "This whole place creeps me out" Sakura said. Anko heard and started smirking once more.

"It should. They call it the Forest of Death and soon your going to find out why" Anko said.

Naruto and (y/n) placed their hands on their waist and began imitating Anko.

"They call it the Forest of Death and soon your gonna find out why!" Naruto imitated; "Do your worst! You're not gonna scare me away! I can handle anything!" (y/n) added.

Anko looked at them, and chuckled. "Sooo... Looks like we've got ourselves some tough guys, huh?" Anko said, smiling as she took out two kunai's and threw it at the twins. "Yah! Plus I'm a girl!"

The kunai left a scratch on their cheeks. Anko then came up to the two and whispered "you're tough enough to handle this? you're not afraid are you?" Naruto held a shocked look on his face, while (y/n) forgot all about the situation and looked more at the Forest of Death, (y/n) sighed.

"Tough guys like you two usually are the ones who leave all the blood around here." Anko said. Wiping the blood off (y/n) and Naruto cheeks, but stopped. Anko took her kunai put and aimed it towards the person behind her. Later a long snake like tongue came to sight next to Anko. Holding the kunai that she threw earlier. "I was just returning back your kunai knife" the person said, all up in Anko's face. "Well thank you, Grass Ninja." she said, smirking slightly. Thanking the creepy grass ninja. "Ya know. I recommend you to not stand so close to her.. Ever heard of personal space?" (y/n) said. Couple of the kids laughed at her joke, the creepy snake looking person at her then at Anko.

"My pardon, with the sight of blood and your blade, slicing through my hair I'm afraid I got a little too excited, I meant no harm." creepy snake man said, apologizing for his previous actions. With that being said, he began to walk away. "You're a freak, ya know!"

"I wonder if I can that with my tongue..." Naruto thought, sticking his tounge out, (y/n) noticed her brother's actions, and looked at him strangely. "What is he doing?" she thought.

"Looks like everyone is anxious and quick tempered! There must be something in the air, hmm.. This is going to be fun" Anko said, walking towards the gate. "Now before we begin the second part of the test, I have something to hand out to you all." Anko added, taking out sheets of papers. "What for?" Naruto and (y/n) said at the same time. "Some of you may not come back from the test and I have to get your consent to that possible risk, otherwise it would be my responsibility." Anko replied, laughing at the end of her explanation.

"Now I'll explain what you'll do with throughout the test, here, pass these out" Anko said, giving half of the papers to Naruto and the other half to (y/n).

"The first thing you must know is that this test will determine each one of you guys Survival skills. First I will give you all a description of the practice 'field'" the violet haired female said. Taking out a map with the practice field on it. "The 44th battle training field zone has 44 locked entrance gates. There inside has rivers and forests. In the center there is a tower located ten kilometers from each gate; it's in this confined area that you will undergo the survival test. This test consists of anything that goes throughout battle" Anko explained, putting away her map back, and took out two scrolls. "To get your hands on these scrolls"

"Both of them?" Sasuke asked. Anko answered yes, holding up a white scroll, a kanji on it, saying "heaven" and a black one with a kanji symbol reading "earth"

"You'll be fighting to get both a heaven scroll and an Earth scroll. Altogether 26 teams will be up against each other, so basically half of all those teams will be receiving a Heaven Scroll, and the other half will get a Earth Scroll. I'll hand over one of those scrolls to each team." Anko explained.

"Okay. Then how exactly do we pass the test?" Sasuke asked once again. "Your whole squad must bring both a Heaven and Earth scroll to the tower." Anko responded. "Then at best half of us will fail." Sakura commented. "Actually, more than half of you will fail" Anko corrected.

"Oh by the way, this test has a time limit. You must finish within five days"

"Five days out there?!" Ino yelled out, "what are we suppose to do about food?" Choji cried. "Just look around, the forest is full of things to eat. There's plenty to feed all of you" Anko replied, answering Choji's question. "AH MAN"

"Quiet down, they call it survival for a reason you know." Ino told Choji.

"That means under all those circumstances there's no way half of the teams will pass the test" Neji Hyuuga said, the boy who asked who Sasuke was, yesterday. "With the days getting longer, the nights get shorter. So we will have less time to sleep and way less time to recover. Indeed it's a challenge." Lee commented.

"Completely surrounded by enemies, there won't be any time to rest, we'll have to keep constant watch." Sasuke added. "So um let's say mid through the test, can we quit, by any chance?" Shikamaru asked. "Of course not, in the middle of a battle you can't say 'sorry I quit' well, i guess you could but it's probably gonna get you killed" Anko responded at Shikamaru's question, Shika sighed. "Great. This is gonna be a drag"

"There are also some ways you can get disqualified. The first is simple, if all three or four members of a team can't make it to the tower with both scrolls in hand, after five days; Number two if a team loses a two members or one or a member gets decapitated and cannot continue. But most importantly you, absolutely may not look at the content of the scrolls. Until you reach the tower." Anko explained.

"Eh, what if you happened to flop it open and ya know.. Read it?" (y/n) asked, making Anko smile. "Let me put it for you, young lady. You. Do. Not. Want. To. Know." (y/n) nodded nervously.

"Well that's about it.. Don't die!" Anko said, ending the conversation.

Well, almost done with the exam, Sasuke got bitten by creepy snake man named Orochimaru, Sakura cut her hair, (Y/n)'s hair is still long, and Naruto still says believe it!

Everyone was in the tower, all ten rookies made it, their way there, they were congratulated by Anko.

"Congratulations! On finishing the second part of the exams!" Anko said through a speaker. All the genin were standing infront of old man Hokage, behind the hokage stood all of the rookies sensei's were standing beside him. While 4 Chunin on each side of them.

"I see your team made it, Kakashi. Not so bad.." Gai said to his rival; Kakashi. "They must've gotten very lucky" Gai blabbered on. Till Kakashi spoke up. "Hnm... Did you say something?"

"Alright! Listen up, Lord Hokage is about to explain the other part of the exam for you!" Anko said.

All the genin looked at the Hokage.

"Okay now, listen! I'm going to tell you what is going to happen."

Then Hayate, Procter of the third exams interrupted and started talking. "Well, there's something I would like all of you to do before the third exam." He said "We are going to have a paramilitary test." All the genin looked at him surprised.

"Again?!? I'm gonna faint, I'm done!" (Y/n) said, sarcastically, while fake fainting. Naruto did the same. "Get up (y/n). You'll get even more dirt on you." Sasuke said, Sakura nodded, "you too, Naruto!"
