You couldn't sleep at all, as you waited for Iosef to attack at night, just like how it happened in the movie.

To save your father in this universe from all the trouble that will follow him, you decide to prepare to defend him and the dog, Daisy.

Two weeks passed. There is no sign of Iosef, no stolen car, and no murdered dog.

You told yourself you were just being paranoid.

Maybe your presence did alter the plot. Maybe Iosef got the message.

But also maybe he was just waiting.

It’s a quiet afternoon when John hands you the car keys.

"We're out of eggs," he says, rifling through the fridge.

"And coffee."

You nod, grabbing your phone and calling Daisy with a soft whistle.

The little dog scrambles toward you with excitement, her nails clicking across the hardwood floor.

"Don’t forget to lock the car," your father reminds you.

You smile faintly, playfully rolling your eyes at him.

"I'm not that careless."

Ten minutes later, you’re pulling into the grocery store parking lot in your father’s beloved 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1.

Daisy is poking her head out the passenger window, tail wagging.

You give her a little scratch behind the ear before heading inside.

It only takes ten minutes to grab the groceries.

Also, you have bought some snacks for yourself and a full skincare package.

You hum to yourself while pushing the cart out the automatic doors, plastic bags rustling with each step.

Retrieving the grocery bags from the shopping cart, you make your way toward your parked vehicle, the weight of the full bags slightly pulling on your arms as you walk.

The parking lot wasn't busting with activity, which is normal as who would go shopping in the morning?

You open the driver's door as Daisy barks loudly and growls.

Once the door is closed, you feel a pinch of a syringe in your neck.

"You really thought I would leave a pretty girl like you alone."

You slowly turn around to see Iosef and his friend sitting in the back seat.

Your vision swims as the drug takes hold, your limbs turning to lead.

The last thing you hear before the darkness swallows you is Daisy’s frantic barking, then the sound of a car door slamming shut.

John hears his doorbell ringing before it stops.

He walks over, thinking that you have forgotten the house keys, but when he opens the door, he only finds a box.

The ex-assassin kneels down, opening the box only to see the dead dog that his wife left for him along with a note.

I took your daughter and car, don't worry, I will take good care of her.

John decided that he was going to end the filthy bloodline of Tarasov.

It's not like it's the first time he kills for you.

He promised his wife to protect you and that's exactly what he is going to do.

You wake to the stench of gasoline and sweat.

Soft bedsheets relax your throbbing head. Meanwhile, your hands are bound behind you, ankles zip-tied.

Daisy’s absence is a knife to the ribs.

"Finally awake?"

Iosef is sitting on the sofa near the bed you are lying on.

You notice that he is holding the system's device, going through it.

"If you don't want to die, let me go."

It might have sounded like a cheesy threat, but when your father is John Wick, it carries the weight of a death sentence.

Iosef snorts, with an arrogant smirk.

"Your daddy's not here to save you. And even if he was, he's just a man."

Knowing that there is no use trying to convince a bastard like him, you change the subject.

"How many points did I get?"

Iosef is confused by your question until he realizes that you are speaking about the device.

"It says you received ten thousand."
