"Not only did you cheat on us, but you also puked blood on me!"

"How many times do I have to apologize about yesterday? It's already embarrassing for me as it is!" you exclaim.

"Lestat, you shouldn't have forced her to drink blood when she said that she didn't want to."

"Of course, you would stand with her childish behavior as it suits you her newfound disobedience."

You place your hands on your head as Lestat argues with Louis, both are causing you a headache.

Yesterday, Lestat tried to force you to drink blood, despite your refusal, even when he cut his wrist and placed the blood in the cup.

You drink from it and throw up on him, due to your mind refusing the idea of drinking blood.

Of course, the argument continued tonight because, in the morning, everyone needed to sleep in their coffins before sunrise.

You sigh, rubbing your temples.

"Must you two always turn everything into a battlefield?"

Lestat stops mid-step, spinning toward you with a flourish.

"Oh, ma chérie, if you wanted a battlefield, you should not have lit the fuse." His voice is honeyed poison.

"Now, tell me who is Adam?"

Louis steps closer, his green eyes searching for yours.

"If there is something or someone, you have not told us, now would be the time."

His tone is gentle, as he grabs into your hands gently.

Now that's how a true man treats a woman in an argument.

You bite your lip, considering your options.

The truth is ridiculous, but the lie has already spiraled out of control.

"Fine," you conceded, your shoulders slumping with defeat.

You were tired of the games and the constant need to maintain the facade.

"Adam is not real," you admitted with a lie, your voice barely a whisper.

"I just lied to…"

"You lied to make us jealous, isn't that so?"

Lestat cut in, a triumphant smirk spreading across his face as if he had just uncovered some grand conspiracy.

His ego, you realized, was as fragile as it was immense.

You couldn't help but snort at his hostility.

"No,"

You said, your voice regaining some of its former strength,

"I did it to spite you because you kept on assuming things without letting me explain myself."

"And yet," his breath against your lips,

"Here you are, lying about other men just to see me unravel."

His thumb traced your lower lip, his eyes darkening with lechery.

"Tell me, darling… did it excite you? Watching me lose control?"

Lestat wraps his hands around your waist, pulling you closer to him.

Seeing his sharp fangs near your neck made you nervous.

If you don't want to bite anyone then you are also sure don't want to get bitten.

"Lestat, stop, you are making her uncomfortable."

The blond vampire rolls his eyes at Louis before looking over your shoulder at him.

"Stop acting like a saint, when you are the one who suggested that we kidnap her in the first place."

Shocked at the revelation, you try to turn your head to look at Louis, but Lestat grabs your face.

"Now, let's not drift away; I want your honesty; who is that Adam you speak of?"

Of course, how could it have never crossed your mind that Lestat might not believe you?

He is the king of manipulation after all, and would know if someone is lying.

"Because I know every little detail about your life before I turned you."

He asserts, moving his hand up to your hair to tangle his fingers within it.

"You already said it; you have been stalking me; I'm sure you already know who Adam is."

Lestat’s grip tightens ever so slightly in your hair, his smirk turning predatory.

"Oh, but that’s the fascinating part, my love," he purrs, tilting your head back to expose your throat.

"I know every name, every face, every insignificant little human who ever crossed your path. And yet… Adam? No. He does not exist in your past."

Louis shifts uncomfortably, his gaze flickering between the two of you.

"Lestat, enough. If she says he’s not real-"

"Then why," Lestat interrupts, his voice dropping to a dangerous hiss.

"Does her heart race every time she says his name?"

You swallow hard. Damn him. Damn his supernatural senses, his relentless scrutiny.

"Fine," you snap, wrenching yourself out of his grasp.

"You want the truth? Adam is-"

"Me."

A familiar man appears in the house, uninvited, his gaze only focused on you.

From his clothes and his attitude, you immediately knew him.

"Adam" you exclaim in shock and happiness to finally see him.

"We need to leave now," he says, throwing over to you a new-looking device.

Adam presses on his own device, causing yours to ring.

Both of you transport away, leaving behind the two vampires without any memory of what just occurred now.

But they didn't need and because your character in this universe returned back to her body.

"Where are my points?"

"Is this all you care about? You haven't even asked how I'm doing after what my twin did to me!"

"Your family subject is none of my concern; you should even apologize to me."

"For what exactly?"

"For your twin brother's behavior, do you even know how much I had to suffer?" you say with a fake sad tone.

"Suffer from having rich men being possessive over you?"

"Creepy men, correct yourself."

Adam sighs, realizing that he has no energy to argue with you.

So, he will just send you away.

"How about this gift then?"

Your eyes lighten up, thinking he will give you your points and double them.

"To John Wick universe off you go."
