"Okumura!.... Okumura!" The teacher blared at Rin, making him jolt awake in a haze.

"Sukiyaki!" Rin screamed as if still trapped in a dream, drool running across his chin.

"If you're not going to pay attention you might as well leave." the teacher scolded.

Rin grinned sheepishly as he picked up his book from the floor.

"Sorry."

Meanwhile I could barely keep my eyes open. If it weren't for that damned homework from yesterday I might've even remembered the teacher's name. My senses weren't working to their max. All I knew was that I was sitting in a dusty chair of the cram school while the teacher blabbered about medicine and demons.

One thing I did notice was the new face sitting a few desks in front of me. The girl had blonde hair that nicely framed her face, fair skin and a greeting smile. Her name was Shiemi, she was sitting next to Rin.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Suguro glaring at Rin's back. I guess Rin sensed his staring because he turned around and glared back.

"What's it to ya?"

"Mind your own business, dweeb." Suguro growled.

My eyes drooped with every passing second, and strangely enough their arguing was some sort of lullaby for me because seconds after I completely lost control of my neck, making my head slam against the desk. The impact made me jump up, my eyes wide as the desk crashed to the floor.

"W-Wha?" I managed to incoherently choke out as every pair of eyes locked on me. My body froze, embarrassment seeping into me as my cheeks turned pink.

"Gomenasai!" I quickly scrambled my desk off the floor and took a seat.

"Do you even sleep at night?" The teacher rolled his eyes. "Teenagers."

"You're younger than me, Yukio." Rin sweat dropped.

"It's Mr. Okumura to you," Yukio responded.

"Alright. I will now hand out your grades on the last exam." he announced and I felt myself sink lower in my chair.

Stupid exams. I was never good at being tested.

Yukio started calling out names and handing out papers. The student's faces varied between happy and totally devastated.

"Emi." he called and I stood up, walking over to him and taking my paper.

I didn't want to look at it, not until he called out everyone on the list.

"Okumura." Yukio called and Rin stood up, yanking the paper out of his brother's hand. Immediately after looking at it his eyes grew wide.

"2?" he screamed

"Suguro." Yukio ignored the raging Rin as Suguro made his way towards his paper, muttering something to Rin along the way.

"You did well." Yukio congratulated as Suguro faced Rin with a smirk showing his exam.

"What! 98?!" Rin screamed. "That's impossible! How could you have gotten a 98?"

"I come here to learn!" Suguro screamed back.

"Everybody here comes to become an exorcist! Somebody who comes here just to waste time should just leave." Suguro finished matter of factly.

"Who do you think you are, you stupid punk! I want to be an exorcist too!" Rin answered.

"Oh yeah? The only thing you do is sleep during class!" Suguro yelled.

What's wrong with a little nap from time to time?
