I had woken up thanks to the intense light coming from my window, hitting me straight in the face. I looked down noticing the head of pink hair resting on top of me."Get off me!" I growled attempting to push the sleeping Shima off my body.
I heard a soft groan and Shima stirred a bit before opening his eyes.
"Oh, Emi...Good morning" he said, voice darker than usual because of waking up just now.
"Move"
He gave me a puzzled look, and after a few seconds he seemed to realize he was crushing me.
"Sorry" he mumbled and moved, rolling on the floor.
I straightened up and looked around the room. Bon and Koneko were in about the same situation as me and Shima earlier, but it looked funny because koneko was small and Suguro was spooning him. Claire was on my bed and so was half of Rin's body, the other was on the floor.
I slowly made my way towards my phone and snapped a pic of Bon and koneko followed by one of aunt Claire and Rin.
Shima was still laying down, though he was propping himself up with his elbows and looking at me through lazy eyes.
"What?"
"I'm hungry"
"Then go make yourself breakfast"
"But this is your house. I don't know where the stuff is"
"Then go find out"
"But I can't do it alone"
"Yes you can"
After about five minutes of arguing with the boy I finally got up and he followed me down the stairs and to the kitchen.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked as he sat down on top of the counter.
"Pancakes?"
I looked around the kitchen to see if we had pancake batter. Finding a box and pulling it out, I set next to Shima.
"I'm not doing all the work" I glared at him and he smiled sheepishly.
"So what first?" he asked getting down from the counter.
"I think you're supposed to mix it with water" I said. He nodded and I pulled a bowl out.
Once he had the water inside the bowl he set it on the counter.
"Next" he said.
"Um... Pour the batter in, I guess" I shrugged.
We both stared at the box for a while.
"Should we read the instructions?" I asked.
"Instructions are for losers. We got this" he said grabbing the box and pouring it all inside the bowl. I nodded.
"And now we mix" I said grabbing the whisk and mixing the batter with the water.
It ended up like a huge, light brown blob.
"Seems right. Now we just cook it, right?" he said and I shrugged.
I got the pan and washed it, setting it on the stove. I turned around and Shima already had the spatula and the bowl.
"We're supposed to pour it whole or...?"
"I don't think so. We have to make small balls, right?" I asked.
"But if we make them into balls they won't cook flat"
"Agh, you're right. What should we do?" I asked and he stepped closer to stove, dipping the spatula in the bowl and taking out a glob of mix. He then started hitting the spatula against the pan, making the mix fall inside it.
