"You're doing it wrong, you know." Amaimon's blunt, teasing tone came from where he stood at the edge of the nightstand. I shot him a glare, lips pursed as my eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

"Watch it. I can make you fall to your hamster death."

"Demon kings can't die." He smirked.

I scrunched my nose up. "Ew, that's right. You're old."

I was currently with my hand shoved inside his cage, attempting to oil the running wheel with one hand as the other kept pushing the green haired demon away while he wined about me invading his personal space.

"Stop touching me with your cursed hands! It hurts!" Amaimon pawed at my open palm. I gave him a side glance and noticed his mini hands had turned blue at my touch.

"Then stop bothering me. I'm trying to help." I groaned.

He chuckled in amusement, shooting me a matter-of-fact look. "I don't even exercise."

"Then why am I doing this!" I couldn't hold back the laugh crawling up my throat as I took my hand out of the small cage.

"Because you're stup- What the hell?!" Amaimon screeched as I dumped the oil bottle over his head. The sticky substance covered his green hair in a matter of seconds, a murderous glare shooting in my direction.

"You were saying?" I dared him to continue.

"I hate you so much right now." He growled, making me smirk.

"Does that mean you don't always hate me?"

I literally saw him hesitate, caught off guard for a couple of seconds before he waved me off. "Whatever. How am I going to get this off me?"

An idea flashed across my mind, seemingly the best way to solve his problem. With a simple shrug I wrapped a hand around his tiny body and took him towards the bathroom.

"Stranger danger! Emi is groping my body!" Amaimon screamed as he tried to wiggle out of my grasp, almost succeeding because of the oil on him. My grip tightened as I began filling the sink with water.

He stopped his movements to look at me, a wary expression on his features. "What are you doing?"

"I'm making you a bath." I responded in an obvious tone, rolling my eyes.

Amaimon began thrashing more than ever. He looked like a possessed cockroach that had just been sprayed with Raid.

"No!" He screeched. "Let me go! Get away from me!"

"C'mon Amaimon, you need to get that oil off you." I chuckled as my hand hovered above the half full sink.

"I can lick myself-" he began in a panicked tone but was immediately cut off when I released my hold on him, making him plunk into the water.

His body froze like I had just hit his brain against a wall, eyes wide and whiskers twitching. It wasn't until I poured shampoo on him that he reacted, a string of curse words leaving his mouth as he tried to climb up the sink walls.

"You're touching my body and I feel raped. I demand you respect my personal space!" He squeaked as I scrubbed him, attempting to get all the oil out while he tried to bite my hand away.

"Amaimon, just relax. This'll be over before you know it." I shushed. He shot me a murderous glare.

"I'm getting you back for this."

I smirked, pulling lightly at his fur. "After this you'll be green and blue all over."

"You know, if I were in my human form you'd be touching my naked body." He said, eyes shining with mischief.

"Ew, why would you say that!" I groaned, my face getting hot as I averted my gaze and plunked him back in the water.

"Because I know you want my body." He replied with a devilish smile.

Ha. Pun intended.

"The only reason why I'm close to your body is because I'm being forced to." I tried to defend myself. "I don't know who Mephisto was punishing, but I certainly feel the weight on me."

"I'm a hamster." Amaimon deadpanned. "I don't weigh anything."

"Whatever." I grumbled, grabbing a towel from the rack and putting it next to the sink. "Dry yourself off once you're done. I have to go."

"Go where?" He turned to me.

"Mephisto called me earlier today telling me to pass by his office. Then I'm going to meet up with Rin for our training."

Amaimon scrunched his face at the last part, his gaze moving away from mine. "Oh..."

"I'd offer to take you with me but..." I trailed, my own gaze shifting to the floor.

"Yeah, I know." He continued, mumbling afterwards. "Stupid brother."

"I'll try to come back as soon as I can, okay? Oh, and we have a day off tomorrow, maybe I could convince Mr. Pheles to lift the seal just for a day."

"I doubt that." Amaimon sighed, his body gently shivering from the coldness of the water. "I can't risk myself being seen. Especially when the Order thinks I'm dead."

I mentally face palmed, feeling like an idiot for having forgotten that little detail. "Right..."

Seconds ticked by as a thick silence fell upon the room, neither of us moving or saying a word. I wanted to speak, to somehow break the silence but for some reason my brain decided to fart and I couldn't produce a thought. Luckly Amaimon opened his mouth, although the words that came out of his mouth caught me off guard.

"So, you're training with Rin?"

"U-Uh, yeah..." I responded, a nervous smile on my lips. "It's just training, I haven't really spent time with anybody lately."

"What kind of training is it?"

"Well, Shura gave us these candles. We're supposed to light all three of them at the same time without burning them down." I explained. "It's harder than it sounds."

"You know I can help you with that. You don't need him." He whispered, wiggling his whiskers at the water.

I was at a loss of words. Was Amaimon actually offering to spend time with me?

"Well?" He said, tone impatient as he shot me an unreadable look.

"U-Uh, yeah. Sure. Okay." I quickly responded, a nervous smile tugging at my lips as I secretly waited for him to laugh and tell me it was a joke. Luckly he just nodded, turning away from me to face the opposite wall.

"So, I'm heading to Mr.Pheles' now. Um, don't drown."

"I'll try not to."

With that last sentence I turned around, heart rate increasing as I exited the bathroom and headed for the bedroom door. My lips were held between my teeth to keep from breaking out into a full out grin.

I had a date with Amaimon!

...Well, close enough anyways.
