Amaimon POV
"I didn't come here for advice..." I grumbled as I continued hitting the rubber ball against the wall. I heard a chuckle from behind me and the familiar voice of my brother rang through my ears.
"Then why did you come here?" he asked and I shrugged.
"I don't know....I didn't want to be alone, I guess." I answered.
I was laying on top of Mephisto's desk, propping myself up with one elbow while the other hand swung up and down, catching the ball and throwing it again.
"Is there something bothering you?" Mephisto asked, rolling his chair so he sat in front of me.
"I know you saw." I grumbled and he gave me a mischievous smirk.
"I would never-"
"I'm not in the mood" I cut him off. He closed his mouth and slowly leaned back against his chair, the playful air around him diminished.
"Look, I get that you're mad, but it's just a girl. It's not the end of the world" he said and I rolled my eyes.
"You think I don't know that?"
"Don't take your anger out on me" he said with both his hands raised next to his head.
"I won't, sorry. I'm just, I don't know..." I rambled but stopped when I heard a soft laugh from him.
"How about you go play with Rin for a while-"
"No." I answered almost immediately.
"It'll take your mind off things..." he reasoned.
"I'll probably end up killing him, and that won't help with the situation" I answered.
"Then go find Emi and fix things-"
"I don't need her. I can be just as happy without her" I growled.
"Besides, it's not like I love her or anything, I just asked her out. It didn't even mean anything..."
"We've got to do something about that grumpiness of yours, It'll get contagious soon."
"I'm fine," I sighed. "Just a bit mad."
"Yeah yeah. Get over it already, you've been boring me since forever with your loneliness"
"It's only been a day-"
"It's been enough" he finished. "You said it yourself, it's not like you love her or anything. So there's no use in being gloomy about it." he said and I remained quiet, throwing the ball and catching it again.
"Amaimon..."
I didn't answer.
"Hey, hey elfie" he said, using the nickname he gave me when we we're young.
"Take your animal form" he instructed. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Do it" he said.
"Why?"
"Just do it"
There were a few silent minutes of me having a stare-off with my brother. Finally I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Fine" I said started counting to three in German. Immediately a small puff of smoke surrounded me and when I looked at Mephisto, He was ten times as big. He reached out a finger at me and knocked me on my back so my legs were facing up.
"Hey! What the-"
"Don't question me" he said and I saw his hand coming closer.
His finger started tickling my sides and I sucked in a breath of air. I began laughing as I felt two fingers now, one on the left and one on the right.
