_Randy's House_
~(Y/n)'s POV~
*Sunday 8:06 PM*
"Ah so she needed to see you alone to discuss a science project. You were even late for class. Didn't see you till after the attack." This catches my attention and I look away from my phone to Randy with curiosity but tried to hide my eagerness.
That's true it did seem like Theresa had something important to say. Randy's eyes glances over at me for a second before snapping back to Jake's.
"I can't seem to recall when any of this was your business." Randy's irritation melts once he notices me looking up. I can tell my presence is holding these two back from a shouting match.
I feel Danny shifts a bit to get up and take a stretch. I look over and see his shirt lift up a bit and he lets out an agitated sigh before combing his hair with his hand.
"(Y/n), wanna grab somethin to drink." I immediately got up alongside him and chirped out a yes. I didn't understand what the problem was but there was definitely tension. I glanced over at Howard and he just signaled me to go with Danny with a head tilt. Danny was already walking out and I quickly tailed him. I close the door behind me and walk beside Danny, before I could even ask what transpired he brushed up against me and clasped my hand with his.
"So you coming over?" He definitely gets straight to the point sometimes. I immediately feel my body temperature flare up and I look over and see him looking down at me.
"I just gotta get pajamas from home." He yanks me closer to him.
"No you don't. You can borrow mine." Before I can respond his hand lifts up to my neck and out of the reflex I squeeze the hand I was holding.
"Gotta say I miss the bell though." He slightly bent over and a single finger grazes my neck.
"Do you want me to wear my collars and chokers more often?" I shudder but try to suppress myself. He pauses his motion but kept walking with me.
"I tend to not wear them a lot cause I'm too scared that it's frowned upon as a fashion sense. Where I'm from wearing stuff like that isn't very lady-like." I drift off into thought for a bit at the end of that statement. Danny retracts his hand and I'm snapped back to reality when I hear him suck in a breath and clear his throat.
"Just be yourself, if that's what you like to wear then do it. If you want my personal opinion I think it looks great on you. Though how you feel is what matters in the end."
I smile at his words as we enter the kitchen.
"I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I'll wear it to school eventually." He lets out a hum and let's go of my hand to grab two cups from the cupboard. He pulls out two identical ceramic mugs, I stand behind and watch. Too nervous to touch anything.
"Let's get tea. You into tea?" He inquires.
"What kind do we have?" I wonder a bit closer to him and peer over.
"Hm. Let's see." He pulls a draw open and shuffles through.
"We have Blueberry, Raspberry, Ginseng, Sleepy Time, Green Tea, Green Tea with Lemon, Green Tea with Lemon and Honey, Liver Disaster, Ginger with Honey, Ginger without honey, vanilla almond, white truffel, blueberry chamomile, Vanilla Walnut, constant comment and... Earl Grey." He lists them off breathlessly and I stood there in shock.
"Uhm, I'll take Vanilla Walnut." I stutter out in confusion and whiplash. He takes out a packet of Vanilla Walnut and Ginger with Honey.
"That comment you made about The Phantom was... interesting." He fumbles a bit with the tea pot on the stove and he seemed to have lost his composure a bit. Behind him I bit my lip and closed my eyes in distress wondering what I could possibly say next to save myself.
