Chapter 18

I woke up just four hours later at 1am. I had a major headache. I got up and walked down stairs--or at least tried since it was so dark--To go to the kitchen. Once I got down stairs I took some medicine and walked back up stairs.

I heard a guitar and looked through my window to see Jayden playing his guitar. He was sitting on his bed not looking at me so I quietly walked out on my balcony and herd him sing.

"Hopefully,

You'll be fine without me by your side.

Hopefully,

I will too.

Times have changed,

Now I, I don't even know myself,

Do I even want too?

You can breathe,

While I, I will suffocate myself.

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. I smiled and started clapping. His head snapped to me and closed his eyes again and then opened them again.

"That was amazing" I said.

"Thanks" He said.

He set down his guitar and walked over to the edge of his balcony and now we were both two arms Length.
