GEMINI

Fourth stood up suddenly.
"Wait, where are you going?" I asked, grabbing his wrist.

"Chiang Mai," he said shortly.

"What do you mean? Fourth, can you just tell me what's going on?" I stood up too, refusing to let him go.

"There's a lot of things I need to know," he paused, his voice softer now. "About you."

Then, without looking at me, he gently removed my hand from his.

"Fourth-" I called his name again, grabbing his hand once more, more firmly this time. "What's going on? Talk to me." I searched his eyes for answers, but his gaze was fixed on the house behind me.

Then, finally, he looked at me. "Will you come to church with me?"

"What? Why?" I asked, confused and caught off guard.

"Will you?" he repeated, almost pleading.

I hesitated, then shook my head slowly. "No... I don't like the atmosphere there. I don't feel comfortable in churches."

As I let go of his hand, he fell silent, lost in thought.

"You're thinking about something," I said softly, watching his expression shift. "What is it?"

FOURTH

"If not now, then never." I forcefully grabbed his arm.
"Ahh! Fourth, what are you-" Gemini began, confused. "Shut up and come with me," I snapped, cutting him off. Without letting go, I started pulling him along the street.

"Fou-"
"Gemini, just stop talking," I said, refusing to look at him.

Ten minutes later, we stood in front of the church. Its tall, worn-out structure loomed over us like a silent witness.
"Church?" Gemini whispered under his breath, puzzled. As I reached out to grab his hand again, he stepped back and yelled, "Fourth, can you please tell me what's going on? You suddenly show up at my house, asking strange things about Prim-and now this? The church?" His brows furrowed in clear frustration.

But I stood there, frozen in place. My mind raced. Should I really go through with this? Was this even the right choice?
No. I shut those thoughts out. Enough hesitation.

Without answering, I grabbed his arm again and dragged him through the heavy wooden doors of the church.
"Ugh, Fourth!" he protested.

Inside, the church was cold and eerily quiet. The scent of old wood and incense lingered in the air. Father was already there, sitting on a bench, waiting for us.
"I knew it-you will bring him here." he said in a soft, echoing voice that filled the empty hall.

"I'm leaving. I don't like this atmosphere," Gemini muttered, turning to leave. I quickly grabbed his hand again before he could go. Just then, Father stood and slowly approached us, his hands clasped behind his back.

"Do you know why your life is the way it is?" he asked, looking at Gemini. "What life?" Gemini scoffed, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes with attitude.
"Fourth, he's carrying multiple spirits inside his body," Father said calmly, his gaze still locked on me.

"What the fuck" Gemini raised a brow, clearly unimpressed.

"Can we begin now?" I asked nervously.
"Let's see," Father replied, then gestured for his men. A few people entered the church and forcefully grabbed Gemini.

"Don't touch me! I don't like this!" Gemini shouted, struggling violently as they dragged him toward the basement stairs.

They threw him onto the floor, and he let out a low hiss as he landed hard. Without hesitation, they tied him tightly to a wooden chair with thick ropes.
Then, suddenly... his eyes turned pitch black.
