Prologue – This Is My Life
My name is Cathy... or now mostly known as Cat around my family, well my new family at least.
Age sixteen; girl of course... but let's not bore ourselves about facts of a normal sixteen year old girl, had a terrible past and so on. I don't care about the past, it always create pity to whoever you speak to about it. Maybe telling my sister about my past wasn't that bad, she coped with it well: meaning she did not say 'I'm sorry' or 'I wish I was there for you' etc...
So in a nutshell... I had a horrible – almost hellish life.
Brought up in a grim orphanage, where Reyna Lawrence: who is surprisingly my aunt (who also doesn't look like us at all) that took us in by bribe. After years of shadowing the ruins of my shattered soul, I eventually got given hope... getting adopted.
But I realised then they were not the best quality parents you can have for 2 years. It still haunts me though, to be locked up in your own bedroom for days; no food or water. Verbal was also equivalent to the starvation: basically meaning they called me names... in American accents. Luckily I knew my sister was safe, with a family and away from that reckless hag.
After, we moved: I escaped from them. So for 6 months I struggled to adapt the streets of L.A by myself, got into a few alleyway fights. But still... that was the past.
Now I have a family, a very epic family that you cannot get. My sister and I got back together and started to know more about each other during the holidays. My new parents, known as Lewis and Hannah... got engaged and married. It was bliss to see them finally together at last (to Ellie's case). I have friends I guess.
Would you count your new father's employees to be friends?
Kim Richards: we got along quite well at my first encounter, telling me information about the other members.
Duncan Jones: known to me as the second most annoying person to at least tease me about Toby.
Sjin (or Paul Sykes): was basically neutral. We both had the same things in common: Disney... especially songs from any Disney movie.
Simon Lane: he was like a second Dad from Lewis; literally the only one who accepts me from swearing sometimes.
And at last: Toby, he was around my age, seventeen. Wears the coolest hipster glasses I've ever seen, but I don't judge him. Then there's his hair: which I am not going to go into detail (will make me kind of an obsessive towards him). We got to know each other well during the holidays, by 'getting to know each other': I mean playing the same gory games. Sometimes we have a laugh at points, but mostly I was quiet since I was trying to concentrate.
Probably that's why I used to their environment: they were a family of Youtubers and playing games for a living! Maybe my life is getting better; I have what I'd wanted: a family and a friend.
Who needs wishes anyways?
All you need is a bunch of chances to finally get what you want.
A/N: This completely the same thing I posted but I managed to edit it to make it more sense. I hoped you enjoyed :)
