CH 6 – Accidents Happen

School resumed the next day, meaning it was another day spending hours on irrelevant subjects such as Geography, Maths, English and such. And don't get me wrong: I knew Lewis had a degree in Science so I can scratch that on my 'Subjects that I Hate' list.

Our timetable recorded two weeks, meaning for a full fortnight, all subjects were different. But since we were going to do GCSE's: we got to pick which courses we were going to exam on. And in my list, my favourites were the arts: Music, Drama and Art. Computing was rather easy (hence that's why I live with a bunch of Youtuber gamers) so I decided to that as well.

Toby was luckily in most of my classes, so I didn't have to go awkward mode to a nerd or a jock. Piper mentioned me the other day: that she's very close to the nerd's group and told them about me. And so, I talked with some of them; who had thankfully helped me with such hard Algebra.

Anyways, it was Monday... again. I decided to tie my hair up for once – and not just because I had Physical Education. Let's just say, I'm not a couch potato in reality. I do occasionally play Minecraft with Toby or Ellie but what I adored was free running and self defence.

But enough being conceited, I applied very little makeup (because of sweating consequences) and got dressed into my uniform. And weirdly, I was the first one to get changed and ready. As I walked into the kitchen, Hannah was still in her PJ's; cooking bacon and egg whilst Lewis was not there.

"Where's Dad?" I asked as I sat down and took a plate of delicacies.

Hannah turned around and said, "He stayed up really late on editing this adventure map he and Simon did." And after she spoke, Ellie had walked in: eyelids draped like curtains. After a yawn, she sat down and stretched.

"Morning Elephant," Hannah casually said as I put a mouth full of bacon in my mouth.

"Good morning..." She yawned. "I'm so tired, but I'm going to eat bacon anyway." Ellie took another plate of bacon and we both ate in silence.

Lewis came into the kitchen 5 minutes later and all of us were all dressed to go. Before we left to go down to the car park, I grabbed my P.E bag and rucksack and rushed downstairs.

Toby was there again – as usual – his floppy hair blowing in the strong wind. He waved and I copied back.

"Cathy," I looked back to Lewis who was getting into his car with Ellie.

"Yeah?" I called out.

"Kim's getting you from school today because Toby is going somewhere after school." I nodded in a plain matter and they left us. However, in my mind: I was wondering why Lewis was giving a huge risk on having Kim getting me? I can perfectly walk to Yogtowers alone. Was Lewis being overprotective?

"Hey Cat," I stop from my trance to see Toby starting to walk on our routes.

"Oh sorry," I apologised and caught up to him.

First period was Physical Education, and what was more relevant to it was we were doing athletics. Piper and Georgie were luckily in the class since it was only girls. What was bad about the class was Paige – again: was with her little b*tch group (Paige being 'Queen B*tch'). She had her eye on me when I was lining up with my friends outside the sports hall. And I swear her eyes were like a needle: piercing at me.

"Ignore Paige," Georgie uttered at me and I nodded quietly. We got changed in the changing rooms, talking as always. And who was new to me a petite girl. Her black hair was short cut, with one side rather looking like Kim's hairstyle. She had dark brown eyes that made you feel all soft inside, nothing piercing as Paige's.
