CH 3 - First Day of School (Part 1)
I felt two hands shake me, my eyes still dormant from sleep. Quite irritated, I slightly opened my eyes to see Ellie standing in front of me: trying to wake me up. She was still in her pyjamas and her hair was tied up in a messy bun from bed. I cover my ears with my hands as I slammed my head on the bed: face flat.
"5 more minutes Ellie!" I groaned as I nuzzled in my bed; grasping the frame with my hands and feet. Then, coldness blew on my skin as I felt my duvet getting thrown onto the floor by Ellie. "Holy sh*t it's cold!" I widen my eyes from the cold, jumping from my posture to a sitting position.
"Uh language Cat!" She retorted; I glared at her and she held her arms in surrender. Getting up, I head over to my alarm clock (which seemed to be on the floor) to check up the time.

Not bad Cathy... not bad...
I placed it back onto my table and helped Ellie with tidying my bed after what she had accomplished of. I saw her fluff my pillow as I grabbed my hairbrush from my big desk and started to comb my hair. It's been a week I've got used to having a different appearance. The office had given me some opinions: mostly saying 'hey... nice hair' or what Ross said, and I quote: "Still offensive about boy's haircuts!" At least they liked it.
Anyway, Ellie was about to leave my room but I called her name to catch her attention.
"Hey, do you know when school starts?" I asked her.
She quickly said, "Around 8:30, but its 15 minutes away. I think Toby's coming around quarter past 8 for you guys to walk to yours." I nodded: understood at what she said. After she left and I quickly head over my wardrobe to grab my uniform and my blazer from the rack; along with my school shoes hiding at the back of it. It was so far to get it, you can literally fall into Narnia!
While I grabbed everything: underwear, bra and socks, I heard Lewis and Hannah in the kitchen talking and the something cooking. I ignored it and walked out of my room to the bathroom - hands full of clothes. Luckily, Ellie had already finished in there, so I locked the bathroom door and threw my stuff onto the towel rack.
I head over to the sink and brushed my teeth thoroughly, cleaned my face and started to apply little makeup onto my face. It didn't look obvious that much, it just hid some of my pimples and chiz. Next, I stripped of my clothes and put on my new uniform. It was quite weird; I never wore 'uniform' before. Being uniform, I wore a mid length black skirt, a white blouse, tie and a black blazer.
The orphanage had a school, but they never supplied us with clothing that is the same as everyone else. And wearing uniform, it felt that I'm just some ordinary girl, the same as everyone in the school I'm going to.
They would never know I'm the daughter who owns one of the popular gaming channels on YouTube.
I then slip on my ankle socks and also got into my new leather shoes: which was still stiff and hard to walk in. Unlocking the door, I head outside to the corridor and walked to the kitchen. There, Lewis, Hannah and Ellie were already having breakfast on the little table in the middle of the kitchen. I waved my hand awkwardly and I sat down beside Ellie. I started my plate of waffles while Lewis started babbling about things.
"So, I'm driving Ellie to school." He started. "Just 10 minutes to get there, but Cat..."
I spoke, "Yeah?"
"Remember Toby's coming around in 15 minutes." I smirked and Ellie laughed slightly. "What?" He asked both of us.
After taking a mouthful of waffles, Ellie said, "It's weird: we're hearing you so serious!"
