As we approach the gates, my heart beats faster and faster. In my mind, I escape the guards and run back to the ship, but reality slaps me in the face as I come face to face with my brother. Although his expression is blank, I can feel the anger radiate off of him.
My brother has always been the tallest of our family, but I haven't really noticed it until now... Crap. It also doesn't help that the guards are pushing me further towards the ground, making me feel so much smaller. I feel the need to say something, anything to lighten to mood, also because he's silent and that makes me even more nervous.
"Augustus...?" As I say his name, I feel the guards stiffen at my side. Crap crap crap, they're even as scared as me.
Augustus puts his hand out, indicating me to say no more. I shut my mouth and stay still, I'm terrified of what he will do, what he will say. Instead of thrashing out, like I expect him to, he looks to the guards and nods. They... pause for dramatic effect... let me go. I'm in shock. Seriously?
The guards pass Augustus and into the castle. Now, I stand alone in the street, with my brother... Alone... with no witnesses. Great.
"Before my anger with you become any more noticeable, would you like to explain why I received a letter from the Kingdom of Arendelle claiming that you attempted to kill the Queen and Princess?!"
I open my mouth to reply, but no words come. I know that I am innocent of my actions... but no one will believe me, no matter what I say. I just look to the ground... I know that this will now be my life. The constant blame and ridicule, the accusations, I will be named the kingdoms monster.
