The Southern Isles, I have never been outside of Arendelle. I have feared travel ever since... well since my parents had passed. I was scheduled to leave tomorrow and I'm currently putting some things away to take with me. I'm dreading having to go and see him again...

Apart of me just wants him to be punished, but the other part... the part that loves the little boy I would hope is still in there somewhere, wants...

I can't love the man he has become. He hurt you and he hurt your family, he is a monster. I have to realize that no matter how much I want to believe differently.

"Elsa!" I hear Anna running towards my room. She must be back from her trip.

She pushes the door open and rushes to hug me. I hug her back and hold on tightly.

Do this for Anna. You have to do this.

"Elsa, why are you crying?" I hadn't realized tears were falling from my eyes. I brush them away and smile.

"Oh, nothing Anna. I guess I'm just feeling a bit emotional." I love Anna, but I can't expect her to understand. She hates Hans and was going to marry him. I feel a tiny ping of jealousy just thinking about it.

GET IT TOGETHER, NO!

"Okay, well are you sure you're okay?" Anna asks skeptically. I know she can see right through me, but she knows not to pry.

"Yes, Anna, I'll be fine." She nods and her eyes drift to the bed where I had been packing my things.

"Oh, are you going somewhere? You've never traveled!!"

I giggle, "Yes, I know, but there is something I have to do."

"Where are you going, do you want me to come with you?"

After Kai had told me about the trial, I had decided to keep it from Anna. She was finally moving on from everything that had happened and I didn't want to make her feel worse.

"Well, there were a few shipments that weren't delivered correctly, so I have to see to it that they are processed correctly." Ugh, really? That's what you come up with! "Also, you just came back from a trip to the mountain, you must be exhausted! Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"Really? That happens all the time!! They never made momma and papa travel for that!"

I shrug hoping I'm convincing enough.

"Well...," Anna says, "guess this much be important."

"Yeah... you could say that."

THE NEXT DAY
"Your Majesty, all of your things are prepared and loaded on the ship, we will departure in the next few minutes."

"Thank you, Captain." I'm nervous, okay that was a lie, IM TERRIFIED. Just looking at the ship makes me anxious. I can't believe I agreed to do this.

You have to. For Anna.

Anna saved my life and after all these years of neglect, this is the least I can do for her. No matter how difficult it will be for me.

"Queen Elsa." I turn to see Kai, and he has a mortified face.

I sigh, what now?

"Yes, Kai?" I ask a little defeated, I can never catch a break.

"Well you see, your sister..." he drifts off, as if he's thinking as how to phrase what he's about to tell me.
