I had just finished filing papers and was ready to go eat. I still had my hour lunch breaks that I was happy to have I gathered my things and told the girls I was out. As I walked towards the elevator. I saw Craig walking towards it also coming in the opposite direction. He was on his phone and didn't notice I was standing there. The bing was heard letting us know the cart finally arrived. I walked onto the elevator hearing Craig behind me, "You just let me stand next to up texting." I smirked; it looked like she was important." He laughed, "It's not even like that." I nodded, "Yeah, okay. If she got you smiling from New York to Cali. It's like that." The elevator made some stops before making my way to the garage. "You going for lunch?" Craig asked. "Yeah, you?" "Yeah, you should join me so we can catch up." "Sure, but what I want to eat calls for me to drive." He joined me in my car as I made my way to a Moms and Pops.

"So how long have ya been talking?" He looked at me confused at first, but then figured out what I was talking about. "For a couple months, but it ain't that serious." I shook my head, "Yeah, okay like I said that smiled said it all." He laughed, "To be honest, that smiled had to do with everything she was saying" "Ewww, really Craig that's how you catch up with an old friend." I said laughing. "I was just being honest and since we catching up. Last time I talked to you, you had a mad." "To be honest, I'm currently single," I said making a turn. "That's whys you being nice and let me ride with you." "Oh so you got jokes." We both started to laugh, "Nah, but forreal what happened?" I shrugged really not wanting to talk about it, "We cool now. Maybe we will get back together." He nodded his head not asking no more questions. As we stepped out the car, "This place food better be good." "You must've forgot I only eat good food."

That's how Craig and Emerald lunch dates started as friends. They would meet at the elevator and either go somewhere or have already heated up food from home. They would sit in the each other cars to eat and talk about everything. He was her bestie on the road since Keith been lacking in the advice section. He kept it real and honest with her, and Emerald needed that. She needed to be told when she was being petty and when she had the right to react a certain way. Craig asked for her advice just as much though. His situation with this girl he was seeing wasn't really the proper way to start something.

"Craig what you mean she in a relationship?" She asked almost choking on her pasta salad. "Em chill it ain't that serious. I'm something different for her. She been with her dude since college and starting to feel trap and stuff." "By the way you talking, you even unsure about what ya doing." She said shaking her head. "The only advice I got for you is to leave now. One of ya going catch hard feelings, and she not going to woman enough to leave her dude. You going look foolish at the end." "But I ain't got no true feelings for her. She just a fuck." Em straight face him, "If that was true, we wouldn't be talking about her." He nodded because he know she was telling the truth. "Already enough about my fuckery. What's been going on with you and your dude." Emerald sighed sinking down in the seat, "We working on our friend foundation and it has been going good. But to be honest..." She pondered to see if she should way this out loud. "Come one, Emerald you know this is a no judge zone." "Every time, I'm around him I just want to jump bones." He almost spit out his drink, "Em yo I need warning before you just say stuff like that." She shrugged, "To be honest hour remember." "So, what makes you stop?" He asked. "I see him fucking that girl." He shook his head, "Nah, I doubt that is it. You scared if you do than you gonna fall for him." She stuffed her mouth with food to avoid the question. He laughed, "Ya girls crack me up. You know you want to be with him, so what's wrong with going hard for and with him." "I need to know for sure he going do the same and if I jump his bones now. It ain't no turning back."
