This is a fuller chapter it will ooick up as time go on. I started my internship that is all weekday from 8-4, so please bear with me. I will be writing at  work whenever I have time. Enjoy and please excuse errors!!!

I was walking over to the benches to sit outside to get some work done. I decided to chill outside since I only had two classes today and it was nice out. Some people were also occupying the area that I was about to sit in. I didn't mind because I had my headphones and they wasn't going to distract from the work I had to do. As I started to set up my things and get to work, I felt my phone go off. "Hey, Brina." "Hey, where you at?" "Sitting outside, why?" "Because I was going see if you some company? I have time in between classes since one got canceled." "Yeah, I'm sitting over here by the Cooper building." "Okay, I'm coming." In about five minutes, Sabrina was sitting with me doing some work. We listened to some music as we both focused on getting assignments started and done. "How is my child doing?" I asked taking a break from looking at the computer screen. "She fine. I think we are getting use to each other and getting a little system going." "How's D with her?" "Girl, he too much. He stay calling whenever he not there and then be wanting pictures." I started to laugh, "You already knew he was going be one of those fathers." "Yeah, I guess." We laughed at the way D was acting before someone came to our table. "Hey, Emerald" I looked up, "Hello." I responded confused as to way this boy keeps talking to me. "I saw you over here and thought I should come over." He said looking over at Sabrina while I said nothing. "Hey, I'm Sabrina, Em's friend, you?" "Max, trying to be Em's friend." I cleared my throat, "I don't need no new ones. You know like Drake said." I said giving a fake smile.

He cleared his throat before asking Brina what year was she, "I'm a senior, you?" "Transfer" "So, the in between phase. Emerald was a transfer last year." Sabrina said looking over at me as I sat there into my computer. "Umm, yeah I was." "So, you are a Junior." "Yes, I am." There was an awkward silence before he decided that he should just walk off, "It was nice meeting you Sabrina. Em" I looked up, "Max." He finally walked off leaving Sabrina to me, "Damn, Em you ain't have to be a total bitch." "What? He dumped into and thanks he can talk to every time he sees me." "He was beingg nice and you just shut him down. He's clearly new here and trying to make friends." "That nigga got friends have you seem the crew he rolls with. That's how my ass almost became road kill." Sabrina laughed, "You say that every time a dude taller than you dumps into you." "Because it's true." "That's besides the point. Stop being a bitch." "No" "Why because you with August?" "No, because I don't have time for more friends including him." "You think he's cute," Brina leaned over and asked with a huge smile. "No," was all I got before she started to laugh. "The same no I got with Shawn. It's okay to think another guy is cute even though you are in a relationship." I looked at her, "He's cute but that's not why. I can tell he has other motives I can spot them I mile away. I just don't want no drama. I'm almost done here and just want it to be smooth. " Brina nodded that she understood were I was coming from.

Sabrina went off to her next class leaving me out there for a little longer. Not no long though because soon half of the crew was out there chilling with me. Some doing work and others clowning around. "So, you mean to tell me. The professor just let the students share their narrow minded opinions without checking them." "Exactly," Shannon said. Shannon was blended in the crew very well. She was from Oakland but had this south vide to her. She blames it on those summers in North Carolina. I laughed at the mess they talked about from students, professor, to the world issues. "Ya I'm worried about what's going happen once election get here and we at this PWI." "You ain't the only one, " I said chiming in. "No, forreal these kids talk crazy and very one sided without looking at the whole picture and looking around." I nodded because I have ben thinking about this a lot. I don't need nobody to start talking crazy I get a hand on them. I might just be put out before getting my degree. We decided that it was time to head inside and eat something. We all decided that the café was not going work tonight, so we made our way over to Keith's place.
