Outsider's Eyes
She was able to put a name with the face. All because she was being reckless and careless. She thought leaving her stuff unaccompanied was a bright idea now this girl was one step to causing a fire storm. Its bee a couple weeks and everybody has been in the swing of things. School, work, and personal lives is where everyone heads been at. Especially, Emerald. Her busy schedule consists of going to class, doing homework, working at this non-profit organization, and also being a girlfriend. She laughs because she used to be the girl that always said I don't have time to be checking on someone to see how their day going when I can't even keep up with mines. Now, she enjoy that time she takes out to attain to him. He sees her effort and praises her for him and the same goes for her. She knows it's fifty million other things he could do besides talking to her. You could tell that they have been getting closer and making effort to make this work. Even when he came up North for work, they made time to see each other. Grant it, it was difficult because their schedules were not working at all, but Emerald made it her business to just pull up on him making him feel better. She stayed the entire night with him as they chilled in the hotel room talking and enjoying each other in Em and Aug fashion. Little did they know, things were brewing. They might have had control of it if they knew it was coming. From their understanding, only a few knew about them. They took pictures but kept them private. She was aware of everything he was doing on that phone whenever he was on insta or snapchat, so she stayed low.
What she didn't think about was sneaking people that looked through phones and computers whenever they weren't long. The people that wanted to know what was so secretive about who she was dating. The one's that found it strange that not everyone knew who this dude was. The storming was going come when Emerald least expected it, specifically when she was away in Cali for work and also helping Stefanie. Stefanie asked could she come with her to Cali to help style these fashion events that she was doing. Emerald of course agreed because it was happening on her break, but then work came along and asked her to join their fundraising event. It was a two day event, two days before Stefanie event, where they would be raising money for the organization and to potential branch out the area. They wanted her to experience life outside the east coast and see how they made moves. So she agreed, they were paying for her to get there all she needed to do was show up and work. She manage to convince then to let her switch the ticket to come back home till after she help Stefanie. August was a little over it because he was hoping he could get her to himself because he was due back up in New York at the same time. He gave her some slack because it was for Stefanie and work, he understood the hustle. She was excited that she had all this stuff going on that one night she forget she had clothes in laundry that she just left her computer and phone on the table to go get them. She came back upstairs not checking to see if anything was moved, opened, or deleted. Emerald was usually good at these sort of things, but here we go.
Emerald
I already had my bags packed and ready to go. Brie volunteered to come pick me up from my dorm so we could ride to the airport together. In fact, her boyfriend was driving and dropping us off at the airport. "Thank you guys for coming to get me." "No problem," they said at the same time. "Ya cute! How long have ya been together?" I asked sitting back a little texting. "Since college." "Oh wow. I see you locked him down Brie." "More like he locked me down." They all laughed as the conversation went on, "So, Emerald are you excited about these two days." "I am. I could barely sleep last night. I'm really excited about the wonderful weather tho. It's been so cold here." "You prefer the summer." "Yasss, I'm not built for the winter. I don't even like A/C." They both looked at Emerald like she was crazy." "I know, I know it sounds crazy but it's true." "Well, I will make sure we have some fun before I leave." "You say you like she's not coming back with you." Her boyfriend said finally getting us in NY. "She's not. She's stay for a extra few days." "Yeah, I'm helping a friend with a event." "Nice," he said nodding. After about another 30 minutes, they were pulling into the parking lot of the airport. I found out Brie and I would be seating next to each other while the others were a few seats ahead of us. Once we got through security and everything else, we were sitting waiting for the plane. "Did you come up with any cool fundraising ideas?" Brie asked as we snacked on some food. "Did I! I came up with three maybe two of them are solid even though." "Girl, go head and flattery yourself your ideas are always solid. It's like you are a prop at this." "Far from it, but I take the compliment."
