Hey, this is the last short for a while, I think. I hope ya enjoy. I will be workin on the next chapter in the next few days. It will be a jump in time.

August 7th a jewel came in the world. 9 pounds and 19 inches girl came screaming and over it already. Em was on video chat watching the whole thing happened. She was over August's house when her phone started to go off. Once, she heard D trying to gather his words she already knew what was happening. "Video chat me once ya get settled at the hospital," was the only thing Em said before hanging up. She started to jump up and down while sitting on the bed while waking up August. "Em, the hell you do?" "Brina about to have my Godchild," She said all excited. He rolled over laughing looking at her rush to get the computer set up. After about an hour, D and Sabrina were on the computer. Emerald was being the supportive Godmother from a far as Sabrina breathed in and out. As fast as they wanted to the little girl to come in the world, she was running on her own time. So, Em just stayed on video chat as her and Brina talked through the pain. It was good for D because he had someone else to help with their nerves.

Their family was at the hospital but only caused more stress for the two making the doctors escort them to the waiting area. Right now, the only three people in the room were D, Darren, and Sabrina. That wasn't for that long though. "Hey, cousin in law you good?" Clark said coming through the door. "I'm good. Thanks for coming." "Hey, cousin. How's the fam doing out there?" "You know they made ya put them out." "Owell, they were doing too much in here. Talking all loud and asking a whole bunch of unnecessary questions." Clark laughed as he came over give Sabrina a hug only to give her one and look at the tablet screen. "Oh who you video chatting with?" He asked knowing who it was. "Emerald she's still in Atlanta." He nodded before saying hi. "Hey," Emerald said as August arms wrapped around her chest since she was laying right next to him. Sabrina laughed at the gesture as Clark looked at Em unfazed from August marking his territory. He respected that she was in a happy relationship and he was taking care of her. He knew Em deserved a dude that wasn't going play her and respect her enough to be completely honest. "How is work going down there?" He asked standing right next to Brina. "It's going good. Enjoying my time." "That's what's up. And from the arm looks like your old man treating you right." As soon as the words left his mouth, August slightly lifted his body. "Sure is, Brina where you at?" He asked cutting the whole catching up conversation. Clark laughed as he walked away to leave to situation alone.

After another hour, the baby was finally ready to come show her. As Clark and Darren stood beside Step and D stood behind the doctor, Emerald was on pins and needles gripping onto August. August was low-key excited too, its always a joyous moment when a baby is brought into the world. After a couple big pushes from Sabrina, a baby was heard crying and screaming. Meanwhile, D was crying telling Sabrina she did it. D cut the cord and soon the baby was taken off to be measured and checked to make sure she had all her parts. D grabbed the tablet so Em could see her Goddaughter in all her glory. "There go my baby. August ain't she cute." He laughed at her looking like a happy parent and she ain't do a thing. Everybody was on a high that only comes when I newborn is around. Sabrina and D just held her looking at her like they couldn't believe that this was their child. Emerald stayed on the video chat until Sara showed up. She told them she would talk to them later once everyone get some sleep and stuff.

She hung with a huge smile on her face making August laugh once again. "You not gonna keep laughing at me." "You look like that's your child you just birthed." "I know it's not but it's my godchild and that's enough to look like however I'm looking." He nodded agreeing with her. "You want your kids one day?" She looked at him confused as to why he was asking this, "Don't look scared. I'm gonna flip you over now and get you knocked up. Now, we might practice." "Umm, yeah someday I won't mind." "You say that with unsureness." "With everything that happened when I was in high school, I always questioned would I be able to bear again." He nodded pulling her closer forgetting about the situation. "I'm pretty sure God will not hold it against you." "I know but I was young putting my body through a lot with doing that." "Look, we can have this conversation another day. I don't want this feel good moment of your godchild being born turn sad." He said once he felt Em's body language change. She smiled, "Okay, let's get some sleep." "I thought we were going practice for a minute." He said making Em laugh, "No, I'm tried."
