A/N this chapter is dedicated to....... WysterianPrincess !
"Brian," I started, after we got on the rode, "Do you know anybody else in town, or just us?"
"Well, I know Gray, sadly," he said, "And I know Jeff, he's our neighbor."
"Jeff," I said, trying to remember who that was, "Oh, Jeff! Yeah, he's on his senior year, too. He was in band with me in 7th grade, and he used to be Lilith's boyfriend."
"Yep, that's the Jeff," he said, "He still always complains how Lilith broke up with him."
"They dated for like two weeks. Two years ago."
"I know! It's so pathetic," Brian laughed. I laughed with him and then there was just silence.
"Brian," I asked again, turning my head towards him, "Do you think we're taking our relationship too fast? I mean, we kissed on the first day and have every day since. And I didn't kiss Gray until we had dated for like two months and-"
Brian cut me off with a kiss. (While being a safe driver of course. His eyes never left the road, he isn't an idiot.) Well, that kind of answered that for me. "There's no such thing as going too fast when you really like somebody," he replied, "And I think I'm already falling in love with you."
My heart pounded in my chest. He was falling in love with me?! This was amazing! "I think I'm falling in love with you, too," I replied.
"Good," he smiled, "Now we're on the same page." I leaned over and kissed his cheek. "And also, never compare our relationship to that Gray kid. He's bad news and you know it."
"Don't worry, I don't want to," I replied, "He was so much more of an idiot than you are."
"Are you saying that I'm an idiot?" He said, faking offended ness.
"You have your moments, Kentucky," I smiled
Eventually, we got to the forest. We were the first ones there. I glanced at my phone. It was already 10, where was everybody? Lilith is usually early!
"Where is everybody?" Brian asked. Apparently he was thinking the same thing.
"I was thinking that too," I replied. We sat there in silence for at least ten minutes, when Lilith called me. I answered it and pulled the phone up to my ear. "Why are you so late?" I asked immediately.
"I'm sorry, I got pressing news that will make you want to leave the forest area," she said. Her voice was toned with fear.
"What is it? Is there a bear sighting?" I asked.
"No, worse," she said.
"Is there a wolf sighting?" I asked, "I'm not going to guess it right, so just tell me."
"Well, Henry got to the forest at like 9:45 this morning. He called me and said that he didn't feel right, like something bad was going to happen. Then, I could hear him drop the phone and the windows being smashed in his car. The line then cut. Henry was kidnapped, Sarah." I shrieked and dropped the phone. I saw Lilith hang up, because my phone went to its normal screen and Brian looked at me, extremely worried.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Leave. Now," was all I could manage. He quickly turned on the car and drove away from the forest as fast as possible.
A/N I'm sorry, but I had to! Hey, I promised plot twists, so he ya go! Plot twist! I'm so evil, aren't I :)-Piper
