Brandon's Story

Chapter Twenty-One

I asked Nikki if she wanted to go to a Italian restaurant. 

As friends.

She said she wanted to but she had plans that night.

She said,"Maybe tomorrow?" 

I said,"Yeah, no problem."

Then I heard a knock at my door. I opened it and saw MacKenzie. 

She said,"When are you going to send out the invitations?"

I totally forgot her! Then I said,"Uh... The day after tomorrow?" 

I wanted to say never but she'd be going crazy if I said that. Then she left.

I woke up at 7:00 and called Nikki.

 She said,"Of course Brandon I will be there!"

 I made sure everything was okay then I thought about Marcus and Theo's wedding.

 Of course they got married to Chole and Zoey. They have one kid each. Chole's kid is a boy and named Andrew. 

Zoey's is a girl named Stephanie. They all live in Miami. They told me that when I get married to Nikki, I can live near them. 

Literally they pay for a 3 bedroom house in between their houses. And I already packed my suitcase for when Nikki said yes to marry me. 

That is IF she said yes.

I watched Football and by the time it ended it was 7:00.

 Oh no!

 At 7:30 I have to pick up Nikki.

 I quickly drove to the nearest car wash and washed my car. Then I took a shower and put on my suit.

 I grabbed my box of chocolates and flowers. Then I saw that it was 7:20! I quickly drove to Nikki's house.

 I saw her coming out!

 Phew made it. 

I checked to see if my proposal box was in my pocket and felt it. Then we went to the restaurant. 

We ordered spaghetti. Then we went outside ate ice cream. Then we went to the park and I got on my knees. 

Then I said,"Nikki Maxwell, Will You Marry Me?" 

I didn't really think of a speech in my spare time. That never works for the guys in the movies anyway.

Then she said,"Yes yes yes!!!"

Then she said she had to go to tell her dad and mom.

I drove home and texted Marcus and Theo.

Brandon: Hey guys!

Marcus: Brandon! What's up, man? 

I was to excited to actually type.

Brandon: NIKKI and I are getting married!!!!

Theo: BRANDON CONGRATS!!!!!!

Brandon: I know and now you don't have to pay for that house anymore!!!

Marcus: Of course!!!! When are you moving in? 

Brandon: I don't know. I guess when Nikki feels like it

Marcus: Ok! We're all coming for the wedding!!!!

Brandon: Ok!!

Theo: bye!

Then I stopped texting them and went to sleep. 

I couldn't stop thinking about a certain fiance.

Tomorrow will be great!!!
