"Things have gotten much crazier since you left Beacon Hills. We need you back, Parker."

Lydia jogged back over into the room of the Argents's underground bunker. "The tunnel gate's locked. Everything is locked."
"Think it'll hold them off?" I ask as I stare at the giant capsule in front of me and Scott.
Scott shook his head, "Probably not."
"Definitely not." Lydia agrees.
"So, how cold does this thing get?" I ask.
"Cold enough for a Hellhound." Lydia replied, "It's not the same thing as the ice bath you gave Isaac, but it can lower your core temperature past anything a human can survive."
"So, what does freezing our asses off have to do with our memories?" Malia wonders out loud.
"It'll slow your heart rate and put you in a trance-like state." Lydia said.
"Like hypnosis." Scott elaborated.
Lydia nods. "Hypnotic regression. If we can figure out how to work it..."
Malia wandered around the machine and pointed to a red button. "This says "start." So, maybe it's not that complicated."
Lydia voiced a question. "So, how much time do you think we need to do this?"
"As much time as Liam and Stilinski can buy us." Scott answers her.
I tap my foot against the floor and bite the inside of my lip in worry. "I shouldn't have let him go."
Scott turns his head and looks at me, placing a hand on my shoulder comfortingly. "He'll be okay. Liam's a strong kid."
"He's still just a kid, Scott. He shouldn't have to be doing all this. He shouldn't be risking his life at all." I reply with a long sigh. "I should have gone with Noah instead. Keep Liam safe here with you guys."
"No, Parker, we needed you here." Lydia says. "You have the strongest connection to Stiles out of all of us."
"I know, but Liam—"
"He'll be fine, Parker." She says with a soft smile. "You helped raise a strong kid."
"'Raise' is kind of a stretch, Lyd." I say with a tiny smile.
"Shush. You helped him become a better werewolf. In my book, that's raising someone. Besides, we all know you guys had a special bond the second you met."
A loud ringing sound startled all of them, and I took out my phone, answering it immediately.
"Liam. What's wrong?"
"He's gone. Sheriff Stilinski's gone. I got Theo out, but—"
"Are you okay? Do you need me to come get you?" I walk away from my friends as Scott heads for the opened machine.
