Emily's POV

Face to face we stayed, it almost felt like forever.
"Em, did your pretty friend leave yet. Its awfuly quiet out here." My mom said. I didn't even realize she had opened the door. I saw Catt back away and smile at my mom.
"No. Its fine. I was just leaving. Thank you for all the advise Emily, I'll let you know how everything plays out and good luck with....?" She said waiting for me to finish the sentence.
"Lucy." I explain then the second after I said it I remembered what she did, and all the times she lied. But then I had to snap back to reality."Yeah I'll let you know, too. We then got up and gave each other a hug. I said good luck and she did the same. She walked across her yard and into her dark unlit house.
"Hey, come on inside." My mom said. I walked inside and slipped of the sandles I had on. I went to walk away and go to my room.
"Hey uhh we're going to go to the school tomorrow, okay." My mom said.
"Oh okay that's fine." I said looking down, hoping she didn't see my expression.
"I just want to get you enrolled, I don't want you to miss to much school." She said.
"No I understand." I said every hesitant to make eye contact with her.
"You'll make friends don't worry, I mean look you've already got an amazing one and she's only just met you." She said resting a hand on my shoulder.
"I know I will...it's just, umm I didn't tell you." I said then I felt this litteral ball in my throat that I couldn't swallow.
"You didn't tell me what." She said stitting down at the kitchen table.
"I umm, Lucy she." I began but it was almost as if my throat physically locked it self.
"Just tell me sweetie." She said with question in her voice.
"Lucky cheated on me." I choked.
I begun to feel the tears build up in my eyes. And I wanted to say something but I couldn't get any words out.
"Oh honey come here." I wrapped my arms as tight around my mothers torso as I could. We stayed that way for a while. When I finally let go, her shoulder was soaked.
"I'm sorry." I said as I patted her sleeve.
"Oh don't worry about it, you should probably go get ready to go to bed." She said as she slid her hands down my arms and intertwined our fingers together.
"Yeah you're right." I said before letting go and walking back to my room.
I went straight to my computer and clicked on to Facebook. I scrolled through the people who were online and found Lucilia Johnson."I know about Eric, and I'm breaking up with you." I wrote in the message. Forward and straight to the point. I sat on my bed and waited. I waited and waited and waited. I checked the clock once again, it read 2:56. I got up and checked to see if she messaged back. It was read but no response. I went to send another message but it alerted me that I could not contact this person on the website because I was blocked.
"Are fucking kidding me." I mumble to my self. I thought of texting Catt to figure out what happened on the porch but I didn't think she'd be up. Then I glanced at some boxes that were on the floor next to a dresser I've had since sixth grade. I raced down stairs and got some scissors then headed back to my room. I closed the door and sat on the floor next to the first box. I cut into it and it immediately smelt like history. The first thing I saw was this drawing I made of a turkey with my hand when I was seven. The next a note book full of old songs I wrote. I went through the box and experienced all the feeling I felt about each object I found. Then I saw a corned of a wooded picture frame and picked it up. There was three people in the picture my mom me, and my dad. It was taken a month before it happened. I rummaged through most of the box but the last thing in there was a plastic sandwich bag with picture in it. It was from my old cheer leading days. Back when I was in middle school and even the begging of high school it was my passion, my everything, my whole world, the only thing that could distract me from my dad. I was always a bit bigger than the other girls mostly in the thigh and stomach areas. That was the reason I started cheer leading in the first place. When I stopped I would just work out five days a week. I decided to walk down the hall to the bath room to brush my teeth. I ended up spending at least an hour and a half looking at my self in the mirror. I opened up the mirror and looked at all the medicine, I found one that I had to take years ago for my weight. I was gaining to much and I started to not eat as much but still was adding on the pounds, the pill which now I don't remember what it does exactly, it pretty much helped keep my weight under control. I stared at the bottle for a few minutes. Right when I was about to open it I heard a knock.
"I need to go to the bathroom." I heard my mom say from the other side of the door.
"Okay hold on." I quickly but quietly put the bottle back on the shelf and closed the mirror. I opened to see my mom in her PJs and a robe with her hair all messed up.
"Why are you up so early?" She asked rubbing her eyes.
"Who said I went to bed."
