Becca's POV
I woke up the next day at God knows what time to Asher's whimpers on the baby monitor. Before he could cry and louder, I rushed into his nursery and scooped him into my arms. When my eyes landed on the still dark bruises, my jaw clenched. I had no idea what I was going to do about the groggy and fussy baby in my arms, until I thought of Catt for some unknown reason.
I changed Asher into his little Cookie Monster onsie before taking him into my room so I could change. I put on another baggy sweater, one that was pastel pink and the sleeves reached my knuckles. I slipped on some black skinnies and my black Vans to go along with. Once I was done, I just left my hair messy and picked Asher back up before grabbing my messenger bag and walking out to my Jag. The car seat was already inside the back seat so all I had to do was fasten Ash in. I shot Zee and Mike a text saying I needed to stay home until I found a good baby sitter and with that, I was off.
I drove until I was about a block from the school. I parked and waited for the old Cadillac to pull up into the spot, and when I did, I got out, Asher in my arms, and knocked on the window. Catt jumped and glared after seeing it was me. She rolled down the window and snarled at me. "What do you want? Why'd you bring a baby to school?" I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.
"Y-you know th-the b-baby I was t-talking about y-yesterday?" A nod, just like when we first met. "H-he's my brother. M-My m-mom left u-us a-and now I-I have t-to take c-care o-of him." Catt scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Why don't you have a babysitter for him, then?" "I-I did, b-but I-I w-went home e-early a-and f-found h-her hu-hurting Asher. Th-that's wh-why I ha-have to sk-skip today." Catt looked at me with bug eyes, but then asked, "So why are you talking to me?" Just then, Asher started to fus and squirm in my arms. Catt got out of her car and walked over to me. "Can I hold him? My d-dad always said I'm good with babies."
I gently passed the now crying baby over to the brown-eyed girl before grabbing the bottle from the baby bag from the trunk. "Let me feed him first," I nearly whispered as Catt passed Asher back over to me.
As Asher was drinking his milk, I looked to Catt and contemplated on asking her the question I needed. "Um...C-Catt? C-Can I a-ask y-you someth-thing?" "Sure, go ahead." "C-Can you h-help me w-with A-Asher? I'm r-really sorry a-about wh-what I-I said a-and I d-don't kn-know wh-why I-I d-did b-because I-I n-norm-nornally d-don't a-and I-" I cut myself off after I started tearing up. Why I was horrible to the girl the day before I have no idea. But I was determined to make it better.

Hey guys! This chapter was a little shorter than my others, but I kinda want Kitty to determine her answer in her own POV so that's why I did that. Woohoo! I almost forgot to update cause I keep thinking it's Wednesday and not Thursday. Oops. Love y'all
