Becca's POV

When Catt agreed and told she would help with Asher, I had to try as hard as humanly possible to not break out in a grin. She accepted my apology and she's gonna help me with my brother who may possibly soon have to be my son. That single thought alone scared the shit out of me as I put the now sleeping baby in his jungle themed car seat.

On the way home, I kept looking back in my rearview mirror and watching Catt's car trail close behind me. I honestly don't see why she didn't park in the car park, the car looked fine to me. In all honesty, her car looked like a lambo compared to my mom's. And if she really was ashamed of it, I can pay for things... Whoa, chill Becca. She's only doing this to help you. And out of pity. You aren't anything special to her.

By the time we were at my place, I was almost insane from not being able to blast Pierce the Veil and Bring Me The Horizon through my car. I mean, I have a two month old in the back seat.

I put the car in park and began taking all of the baby things out of the trunk. Catt walked up to me and I signaled her to get Ash. Somehow, she managed carefully transferred him from his seat to her arms without waking his sleeping figure.

"Damn. I knew you were rich, but not this rich." I giggled a little and nodded. "Y-Yeah. M-My grandparents h-had a-a lot of m-money. Wh-when y-you get in-inside, A-Ash's room i-is se-second story, f-first d-door o-on the l-left. I-I want h-him to s-sleep a-as long a-as possible s-so I c-can g-get th-things sorted o-out." "Yeah, okay I can do that. I'm guessing it's the jungle themed room?" I forced a giggle and nodded, leading the adorable girl in.

I was so envious of how well she could speak without stuttering. All my life I've stuttered and the only people I can have a conversation with are Zee and Michael, and now Catt. It's like having bad eyesight. With contacts or glasses, you can see, but without, you can't. And sometimes, you forget that not everyone has bad eyesight, but when you remember, you get jealous of everyone.

Once inside, Catt stopped to gawk but soon went up to Asher's room to lay him down. I went into the kitchen and began fixing some French toast my mom taught me how to make when she wasn't running off every two months. I'm shocked that I only have one brother and not ten siblings.

"Something smells good," Catt spoke up as she walked into the kitchen. I jumped at the sudden voice breaking me out of my thoughts and sheepishly nodded. "F-French t-toast. M-Momma u-used t-to make it a-all th-the t-time." I pulled my light coloured sweater sleeves down to cover my hands as I nibbled on the sleeve, embarrassed with my stutter once again. "That's...cool I guess. I mean, she used to spend time with you before she started going a wall." I just nodded before scooping the toast on a plate and putting it on the table.

"Th-thanks a-again for h-helping me. I-I d-didn't think y-you w-would a-after yesterday," I spoke up shyly, pushing my toast around with my fork. "It's fine. You seemed pretty serious about it. But can I ask you one thing?" I nodded, not really wanting to speak and get frustrated with myself.

"Why do you always wear long sleeves and bracelets?"
