Chapter Twenty-Two

Catt's POV

*Recap of Yesterday*

Becca interviewed Emily and was almost worry free, it only took a little bit of a pep-talk from me to convince her that everything would be fine. We drove to the most beautiful place I've ever seen in the boring town where I live and we had a really romantic date. The whole place reminded me of the field of flowers from the Twilight series. There were flowers of almost all the colours of the rainbow. Becca made me a flower crown after falling on her bum and giggling -which I thought was the most adorable thing ever-. The whole day consisted of us playing in the water in our underwear and kissing and a bunch of other cliche date things. We hadn't even thought about the time or the rest of civilization until it started getting really dark and Becca got really tired. I drove the way home with the help of my GPS and she fell asleep in the car.  We got home, I carried my girlfriend up the stairs and put her in bed, thanked and paid Emily, and last, I got confirmation that Zee would come over and watch Ash for a while and I would pay Becca back for the most amazing day. I then returned to the bedroom and crawled into bed with Becca curled up in my arms. 

*Today*

I felt my phone vibrate violently against my left hip, thankfully Becca was attached to my right. I reached into my pocket and pulled my phone out, dismissing my alarm. Becca was a fairly heavy sleeper so I cautiously detached her from my torso and replaced myself with her life sized stuffed penguin. I smiled to myself when she wrapped her arms tightly around the penguin and adjusted so quickly without batting an eyelash. I grabbed a piece of notebook paper from her desk and her favourite sparkly purple pen. I wrote in my lanky handwriting:

Good morning love,

Yesterday was the best day I've had in a very very long time. I want to show you how much I appreciated it. So get dressed in something fun (something you won't die in if it gets hot and you'll look killer in, like you always do ;).) Once you're ready, come downstairs and I'll explain more to you.

Once I finished writing, I propped it up against her phone on her nightstand and got my duffle bag that Zee very kindly refilled for me when we went on our date yesterday. I took it to the bathroom down the hall so I wouldn't wake her with my jostling. 

I rummaged through it and pulled out my tights that are my skin colour but have patterns on them to look like I have tattoos on my legs. I only wear them when I want to wear shorts to hide my "flaws". I pulled off my jeans from last night and pulled on the tights followed by a pair of tight black shorts. After that, I dug around more in the bag and pulled out a short sleeved red shirt with "KICK ME" written in big black letter. 

I pulled the shirt over my head and smiled when the red from the shirt matched perfectly with the red rose on my thigh. I pulled my hair into a pony tail with my fringe across my forehead and pieces framing my face. Lastly, I pulled my eyeliner across my eyes and topped off my look with some red lipstick.

I smiled at my appearance and walked downstairs, shooting a text to Zee.

Me -Aye you got the stuff? :)

I waited shortly for a reply and walked up the stairs to Asher's room. I picked up the toothless smiling baby and cradled him in my arms.

"Hi, Ashy. I know you probably don't know me, I'm your sissy's girlfriend. You'll understand when you're older." I told him and smiled at him, he smiled back and pursed his lips, blowing spit on me. I didn't mind much, I giggled and kissed the top of his head and carried him downstairs to his play pin. I layed him on his back and heard a knock on the door. 

I opened it and saw Zee standing in the door frame wearing a galaxy designed shirt and black shorts with purple vans. 

"Hey, girly!" she almost shouted. 

"Hey, did you get my text?" I asked, confused and pulled my phone out. When I unlocked it my notifications were piling up.

From Zeeeee: Yas! So cute

From Zeeeee: Lord I hate the mall, too many people that know me cx

From Zeeeee: Catt???

From Zeeeee: You two better not be making out

From Zeeeee: She better not be awake yet! After all this planning pfftt!

From Zeeeee: I'm outside bruh put your clothes back on ;) XD

I looked up from my phone with a smile on my face, 

"Jeez dude. I was getting ready." I laughed and gestured to my outfit and makeup. She gave me a nod of approval and giggled. I shook my head at the conversation and walked toward the living room, rolling Ash's pin beside the couch and took him out, holding him in my lap. I smiled at him and started talking in the general baby voice.

"Hi Ash." He smiled back at me and grabbed onto the pieces of hair framing my face, not pulling hard but I didn't want my hair to mess up so I replaced my hair with my little finger. He held my finger in a death grip, the same one his sister has. Thinking of it only made me smile more. 

All of a sudden, his eyes darted to the hallway where a soft sound of footsteps echoed into the living room. Becca stepped into the morning light wearing a short sleeved gray shirt with an infinity symbol on it and tight white shorts. Her hair was hanging loosely by her shoulders and a white bandana was wrapped around her head, she had on light makeup, pink lip gloss, mascara and a thin line of eyeliner. She looked gorgeous, my jaw almost dropped. 

I tore my eyes away from her for a moment and handed Ash over to Zee. I then got up and walked over to her, her eyes raked over me and a blush coated my cheeks. She smiled and gestured to her outfit.

"Where are we going dressed like this?" she asked, an anxious smile on her face. I pulled two necklaces out of my back pocket and covered the square laminated tag with my hands, folding it in hers. 

"Take a look." I told her and bit my lip, waiting for her reaction. She read over the tag, a concentrated look on her face and then it faded away and was replaced by a wide grin that covered her whole face. She let out a shriek and jumped up and down frantically. 

"Oh my God! Catt, I can't believe you did this!!!" She jumped into my arms and wrapped her legs around my torso. 

"We're going to meet Sleeping With Sirens!!!"

Hey guys! I hope you like this chapter, I waited until the VERY LAST SECOND and I normally don't do that. I was at my grandparents house and I didn't get home until like 10:00pm ! And I'm going to my boyfriend's house tomorrow. Today has been crazy but enough about me, sorry it took so long to update and I'm sorry if this chapter is shit but bleh, I'm just finishing writing this at 1:32am. This is how much I love you guys. SOOO MUCH LOVE
