Becca's POV
My heart sped up to God knows how fast when I saw the laminated passes. "H-How?! Th-They aren't e-even on to-tour!" Catt smiled shyly and looked down. "Kellen follows me on Instagram so I DMed him and told him about everything so they all made arrangements to meet us. But we had to have these so they know who we are. Is that okay, penguin?"
I nodded rapidly, squeezing the life out of my girlfriend. "H-How long d-do w-we get t-to sp-spend with them," I asked, wanting nothing more than to spend time with my girlfriend and idols. "Until they have to go, I think. And that's not till around nine tonight, so I mean, all day I guess."
If I could grin any bigger, trust me, I would. "D-Did you t-tell th-them about m-my s-stutter?" Catt shook her head. I nodded and pursed my lips. I looked over to Asher and Zee. He was laying in her arms, blue eyes roaming the room in blured wonder. "L-Lemme see h-him," I said, reaching for the messy, drool covered baby. "Y-You only d-drool wh-when you're h-hungry. A-Are th-they s-starving y-you," I playfully questioned. I walked into the kitchen and made a bottle, contemplating on whether I should bring Ash or not.
After about 5 minutes of my internal battled, I knew what I was gonna do. "I-I'm g-gonna ch-change Asher," I called. I walked to Asher's room and took out his little anchor onsie with the footies at the feet. I quickly changed his nappy and slipped the onsie on, grabbing his favourite dummy and slipped it between his pouty lips. "S-Stop p-pouting, you l-look p-pitiful." I picked him up and walked down stairs.
"I-I'm t-taking Ash w-with us. I-I d-don't g-get to t-take h-him out e-ever, and I-I w-wanna spend t-time with h-him." Catt just nodded with a smile on her face. I handed Asher to her before grabbing the stroller to walk Ash around in. "I-I'm ready." Catt stood up and passed me the cooing baby before walking out. "I'll drive, okay?" I nodded and fastened Asher in his car seat before sitting in the front with Catt.
"We're gonna have such a great time, babe." I grinned and nodded, wanting to rest my voice. I was so excited, it was killing me. I'd been a fan for so long, their first album came out right after my dad left and my mom started going a wall. They mean so much to me and to spend a whole day with them was like a dream come true.
"Okay, we're here." I looked out the window and saw the little music store I worked in. "W-What a-are we d-doing h-here?" I was so confused, it wasn't even funny. "We're meeting SWS here." I nodded and got Asher. "C-Can you grab th-the s-stroller?" Catt went to the trunk and got the stroller. "I-I'll put h-him in l-later, I'd j-just r-rather it o-out th-than n-not."
We walked in the store and I saw my boss. "Aren't you meant to be in school?" "I-It's S-Saturday, d-dumbo." Jamie face plamed and laughed. "Right, sorry. Oh, we just got a new set.of drums, wanna go set em up and play a bit," he asked. I nodded my head with eager and rush to the drum area of the store. "C-Catt, c-can you h-hold Ash while I-I s-set these u-up?" Catt nodded and I began.
I zoned out, completely forgetting about where I was, who I was meeting, and jusy life. I was in my comfort zone. I sat down at the kit, admiring the way they looked in the light. I grabbed my drumsticks from the other set and began to play. This was the one time where I felt irrelevant, but in a good way.
I was half way through the whipe out riff when I heard Asher's cried. I stopped everything and rushed over to him, rocking back and forth. I began humming the only pop song I'll ever like, Ed Sheeran's Photograph, trying to sooth the crying baby.
When I was done, I heard clapping from multiple people. I looked up and saw none other than Sleeping With Sirens.
