"Isn't she just like a little angel when she's sleeping?" My eyes snapped open and I rolled over to look at all be monsters standing in the doorway. Clawdeen, Lagoona, Frankie, Ghoulia, and Abbey stood in the doorway. I picked up the pillow next to me and chucked at them all, actually hitting Clawdeen.

"Nice throw. She's gunna beat you in baseball, someday," Clawd said, sitting next to me and placing his hand on my side.

"Haha, funny. We'll see when that one day comes, alright?" Clawdeen said, her arms crossed at the doorway. I laughed and grabbed Clawd's shoulder, using it as a brace to sit up.

"Popcorn, anyone?" Clawd's mom walked into his room, a big bowl of popcorn in one hand and several glasses of pop in the other.

"Thank you," Clawdeen said, taking the bowl from her mother. Her mother rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Get back to room!" She said, swatting Clawdeen's backside. She jumped in surprise and dashed off towards her room, not leaving behind and of the popcorn. She came up to me and lightly rested a hand on my shoulder.

"You, I'm afraid I, going to break you," she laughed and so did Clawd. Clawrk and I will be downstairs if you need anything. Oh, and, I'm Harriet," she pulled me into a small hug and walked out the door.

"Clawrk is my dad's name, incase you were confused."

"I gathered that. I'm going to Clawdeen's room. I'll see you in a couple hours," I stood at the doorway, trying to figure out where her bedroom actually was. Clawd laughed and walked up behind me.

"Second door," he reached past me and opened Clawdeen's door.

"Thanks," I kissed him on the cheek and calmly walked to where our slumber party was being held. All of them had formed a little circle in the middle of her floor around the popcorn bowl, leaving on spot open for me. I sat down between Clawdeen and Abbey, listening to the end of their gossip circle.

"I say we move to makeovers," Clawdeen said, standing up. She came back with a box full of make-up and another box full of fingernail polish. And, that's what we did. We painted each other's toes and fingernails and redid make-up. Why we needed make-up on at midnight? Even I didn't have an answer to that one. Either way, it was still fun.

I glanced at the clock. 3:04. We had watched at least five episodes of The Walking Dead since I had been here. I looked out the window, noticing that the clouds overtaken the moon, hiding it from anyone's sights. Clawdeen yawned and stood up, climbing onto her bed.

"I'm going to bed, guys. The TV is off. Alright?" I stood up and turned the TV and the lights off. One by one, they all fell asleep. Now they were the ones sleeping like little angels. I snorted out a laugh and walked out of her room, closing the door behind me. I walked over to Clawd's room, where he sat on the edge of his bed, hunched over an Xbox controller. The light from his TV lighting up his face, the rest of the room dark. I sat next to him and watched the screen.

"Whatcha playin'?" I set the controller on the bed and put his head in his hands when his screen turned red. "You just died, didn't you?" He nodded and groaned.

"I've been stuck on this part for almost an hour," I took the controller from him and fiddled with the controls a little. I wasn't a gamer, I didn't know anything about the game, but that didn't stop me from wanting to try to play it.

"I see. Can I try?" He looked up at me and shrugged. He showed me what did what and hit retry.

One try. That's all it took. Guaranteed, it took me ten minutes to get past it, but it only took me one try, where as Clawd had been trying to make it past it for the past hour. He looked at me, stunned and took the controller from me.

"How did you do that? I thought you said your never played it before?" I shrugged and stood up, stretching out my back.

"No big deal, really. Anyways, what game is that?" He was still shocked, I guess, because he didn't answer me for almost three minutes.

"L.A. Noire. Any other games you want to play?" He stood up and grabbed a basket of games and set them in front of me. I skimmed through them, picking up Dead Island.

"What's this one about?"

"Zombies, basically. The disease broke out on an island or something like that," he saved his game and took the disc out of the Xbox, replacing it with the disc I was holding in my hands. After almost two hours of playing the game, I set down the controller and rubbed at my eyes.

"How did people come to believe that this was what zombies did? Ghoulia's a zombie and she's the sweetest little thing you'd ever see. She wouldn't even hurt a fly. You know, normies need to do some research before they just make stuff up," Clawd laughed and lowered himself onto his bed, his back flat against the mattress.

"Well, we have just as many untrue stories about them as they have about us. And we know they're untrue because we know Jackson, who, incase you forgot, is a normie."

"Fair enough, but, still. We don't all like to go out of our way to be mean to everyone else."

"Manny is a completely different story on that one," Clawd said. "He will be mean to everyone that he wants to be. He means well, but, it's his nature, I guess."

"That's a horrible excuse, you know. I don't care if it's his nature, he's still rude," I said, leaning back. Clawd grabbed the pillow and pushed up against the headboard before I touched it. "Thanks," he nodded and put his hands behind his head. My own hands rested lightly on my stomach. By the time Clawd had drifted off to sleep, it was almost seven. I turned over on my side and brought my knees up to my chest and slid my hand under my head. It may have looked extremely uncomfortable, but, after almost 1600 years, I had found he only comfortable sleeping position. I fell asleep within minutes. All I knew was that Clawd had gotten up and possibly left the room. At least he had respect for me. Not wanting to sleep next to me was a good thing, it showed that he respected women. I liked that. You wouldn't find it in guys very often. That's when you know they're a keeper.
