Maya's POV
Life's horrible. Mom is driving me insane, when she's bothered to be at our house at least. Normally people would call the place they live in their home, but the only place that feels like home is Riley's house.
Ahhh, Riley, the only person I wish to be in life. She has the greatest life. A beautiful mom. A stable and loving father and her cute little bro Auggie.
I'm an only child and it gets really lonely if you are the only person in you house 24/7. So I spend almost everyday at Riley's, I practically live their. The Matthews have taken me in sort of as their own and its great but no matter how much they try, I'll never be APART of their perfect family.
Another reason why my life is particularly hell right now is because Brandon, aka the school rebel, just broke up with me. Being with Brandon was the best. I'd relate to him so much, we both have crappy homes, crappy grades, crappy life. Even though I have Riley to talk to about life's struggles, Brandon would understand more. Sure he was a bit of a jerk and sort of a player but he was ther- UGH MAYA WHAT ARE YOU SAYING SHUT UP HES WITH MISSY NOW AND HE BROKE UP WITH YOU!!!
I was then interrupted from my depressing thoughts by the By the creepiness of the Pretty Little Liars aka the best show in the whole wide world theme tune. WOO. This is the episodes of all episodes, guys. We find out everything (A/N: GUYS SPOILER ALERT BUT CECE HOW COULD YOU?! HOW DID YOU GUYS LIKE THE EPISODE? I LOVED IT) I was over at Riley's home alone, watching it her and her family went out for food shopping since it was a Friday night and they have no lives, and so I came over and found the house empty so..
After the episode was over, I heard the door quietly open, I saw the time and it was 9:03pm. And it wasn't the Matthews. I would recognise their voices and footsteps(that's how much time in spent over here). I heard rustling and I knew what it was. It was a burglar. What am I supposed to do?!! Where are the Matthews?!!
