A Dare

Riley's POV
I wake up and the first thing I see is that Maya wasn't here. Maybe she's just with uncle Josh. I think to myself. I get out my phone and scroll down all social media and then eventually get up. I head to the shower but I wanted to check if Maya was actually here.

The door was locked.

Ok, Riles, don't panic, you know Josh and you know Maya more, there's no way they've done what you think they have. They probably locked it because of mom and dad.

After my shower I came out and found my family already eating and the food smelled delicious, bacon and scrambled eggs, and not just any bacon and scrambled, oh no. MOM'S bacon and scrambled eggs.

Maya's POV

Today was going to be such a lazy day. I could already tell because the time was already 3:15pm and literally none of us have accomplished anything. And it's the last free Friday we have and then school :( . Riles, me, Auggie, and Josh played a little Just Dance and, not to brag or anything, me and Auggie won the first round and then me and Riley won the second round and by the third round, we were all knocked out and couldn't do anything. Mr Matthews and Topanga got out the good old board games, we played The Family Game, Monopoly, Uno, and a little bit of Twister.

Time flew so fast with the Matthews and by the time we finished, it was like 9-10pm!

We ordered some Chinese and just went to sleep. Josh decided to sleep in Riley's room, I don't know why. And we all spoke for hours, I was so glad Riley was finally getting along with her uncle again. We said a lot of ghost stories and we were so bored, that we planned tomorrow. I know.

We decided that we were going to see this new magician that was sort of touring around the city and all the money everyone gives, it went to Orphans and a child's home.

Josh told me and Riles that he used to sometimes go to the children's home that was near his house in Philly, and he'd help out, for free. I've always loved the idea of Children's homes, because they could feel normal but my friend that I used to have that was in there said she hated it so I'd always hated it too.

"Maya? What do you prefer? Hello??" A curious Riley snapped me out my little thoughts
"Sorry, what?" I ask, "I kinda zoned out.."
"Yeah," Josh butted in, "we noticed."
"Well Mr Rude, whats twisting your underwear?" I joked
"Einstein over here is saying that mint chocolate is stupid and cookie dough is way better but saying the opposite, what do you think?
"Riles, you know me. My middle name is cookie dough!"
"That's riiiiiiight." Josh smirked and high fives me
"Whatever, we all have our own opinions," Riley murmurs "let's go to sleep now."
"Aww Riles don't get upset, it's just ice cream, I'll buy you some tomorrow"
"OK" she squeals and hugs me and shakes me violently, "CANT WAIT!! And tomorrow you can't back out, Josh heard you, Right UJ?" We both turn to face him, and he's fast asleep.
"Riles don't worry, I promise now let's get some sleep, got a big day ahead of us(!)"
"Sure do, good night Peaches"
"Night, Sweetie."

*** the next morning ***

Josh's POV

After breakfast we straight way left the house and Topanga asked us to take Auggie with us and we did.

The magician was truly amazing, he even took up Auggie and did the cut the body in half thing and it was unbelievable, Auggie couldn't fathom what had just happened and he was shocked and distinct even concentrate on anything after that, because he was too busy trying to understand the universe.

But, I couldn't take my eyes off of Maya. It was like the cinema all over again. She got so excited after every tick the dude did, and when it was a "Pick a Card" one and the magician was going to reveal the final card, Maya slapped my shoulder 20 times in two seconds, "JOSH! JOSH!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD LOOK!!" And then I did look, and it was Maya's card, and she was overjoyed and me and Riley were just laughing at her.

After that, we went to this really funky looking fast food restaurant, and the food there was delicious.

Maya's POV

When we got home, Riley took Auggie to his bed as he was literally almost knocked out. And Riles said that she was going to "hit the hay" too. And so it left me and Josh, alone. Greattttttttt.

We sit on the sofa and it was already awkward. "So, what do you think about the crazy weather, huh?" He asks, I laugh at him.
"So crazy. Actually I really hate it. I hate the summer. I hate all the sweat, all the little clothes, when fall and winter comes, I'm like, yes it's my time to shine!" And we laugh
"Same, " he starts, "well, actually j love the summer but it gets real boring and winters much more fun and you've got more to do, I guess."

And then it's silent again.

"Maya, I really like you."

Damn, it was going so well. Sorta.

"Maya?"
"Yeah?" I look up and I'm straight under his spell again.
"Listen, I know with school and all, things will be sort of different. But that doesn't change anything between us, does it?"
"Yes it does Josh, a lot. With all of this Brandon and Missy fiasco, I mean, school is already stressy enough as it is, well not me because I don't do anything anyway but you get what I mean, and then there's all this boy stuff and I don't know how to handle it.."
"Who's Brandon? And Missy?"
"I already told you before, he's just an ex"
"Yeah but he can't be just an ex if you can't stop thinking about him and he's getting you stressed out. Who's that girl?"
"He broke up with me to hook up with her, ok?!" I say, walk to the kitchen and fight back tears.
"Oh, I'm so sorry."
"It's not anyone's else's fault but thanks, I guess"

Josh's POV

"Listen, Maya, don't stress about him. He left you," she flinched at those words, " but you need to forget about him, because he obviously has about you, I'm sorry if that came out ruder than expected, but it's what you need to hear right now."

Maya's POV

This time I didn't fight back any tears. I broke down, but he was right. He was 100% right. He gave a tight hug and hen let go. He cupped both of my cheeks, looks at me straight in the eyes, "it'll be alright, remember?" And with that, he kisses me, and before Icould reject it, it deepens and again.

I was under his spell.

I couldn't do anything to reject. At all. My whole body was moving the same way his was. We were so in sync. He lifts me up so I wrap my legs around his waist. Our lips still glued together.

We go into his room and he places me gently onto the end of his bed. He goes back his door and locks it. He takes off his shirt and looks at me in a way for his permission. I think about it and bite my lip and nod at him.

I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer as I pull back until I've reached the top of the bed. And he's now on top of me. I take off my top and he takes off my pants and his. So we're here in our underwear, kissing.

I was really fucking scared because this was my first time doing it, I know how lame that sounds. A 16 year old who hasn't done it yet. Even with Brandon, he wanted to but I didn't. Hat was probably a reason for why he broke up with me.

Oh my god, fuck Brandon, I'm with Josh now and that's all that matters.

He kisses me on the neck and a small moan comes out of my mouth and he goes lower to my bra area. He looks up at me again. "Are you sure? We don't have to if-"
And I kiss him again. And that answered his question and things got even more heated as we were eventually naked and we both had adrenaline running through our bodies as they moved together perfectly.
