A Dare

Maya's POV

When I told Riley about the date she got so excited, way more excited than me. After Lucas left somewhat early at around about 9, we decided to have a spa day and it was honestly perfect. Not gonna lie, I begged and begged Riley not to do this because I didn't want to waste a lot of her money for it as we could just do it over at her house. But she fought me through it. We went to the spa got massages, manicure, pedicure, hair and make up the whole lot of it. The day went fast super fast as well, making my stomach to forward rolls. For outfit I decided to wear this gorgeous people dress that was too perfect for me to wear and too perfect to even try and explain how it is. Riley helped me pick it out dress, because as you may or may not know, I'm useless at that stuff so..

Today is hopefully, fingers crossed, going to be the best day ever. It has been so far and I know it was going to be even more perfect with Josh. Eeeek I'm just so excited. :))))))

Josh's POV

I check the time, it was 7:23pm. So nearly half an hour for our reservation at this fancy restaurant I found a couple of blocks down the road.

I call out Maya from Riley's room saying we have to go. I just wore a white shirt, with a tie and some nice trousers. She came out looking like a queen. She wore a long purple dress and it was heavily diamondly(is that a word?) decorated from about the bellybutton up. And then the whole bottom was just plain purple and it was beautiful. She was beautiful. NO JOSH.

We got there and the most annoying thing happened..

Maya's POV

"Dinner reservation please, Matthews and Hart." He smiled at me, whilst talking to the person behind the stand
"Ummm, OH here you are.." The blonde female says and her big smile turns into a confused look
"What's wrong?" He asks
"Well, it says here you reservation was for 8."
"Yeah, and it's 7:56!" He says showing his watch to her
"8am" she said expressionless
"What?!" He screams, "what kind of person would want dinner  at 8 in the morning?!"
"Apparently you." She snaps back at him
"What? No I want to speak to the manager! I said specifically 8 PM"
"The manager wouldn't want to see you two, just get out of here you 12 year olds." She said, not having a care in the world
"Well that was a little rud-" I start but pasta gets thrown at her face and I turn to face Josh, who's hand were covered in sauce, "c'mon Josh lets go!" I say trying not to laugh
"Ok." he says, grabbing a napkin form another random table and wiping his hand and then another splat, on his back, we turn around to reveal the blonde lady, whose hand were now also covered in sauce. And I look at my back and see that it got hit too. Oh no, she didn't.
"Hi, I'm what's our name?" I fake smile taking a couple of steps towards her
"Margaret." She answers and Josh starts busting into laughter
"Well, 'Margret', you hit me so you fucking dead bitch! JOSH HOLD MY PURSE!!" I say throwing my purse at his direction and kicking off my heels and before you know it. I'm on Margret's back and pulling her hair. Josh just stand there cry laughing and then the manager comes in.

VERY long story short, Margret got suspended, which was stupid, that little shit should've got fired and we were banned for a year. Understandable.

We get in Josh's car. "So, now what?" I ask him
"Pizza?" He suggests
"Yes PLEASE!" I say buckling up

We arrive at this pizza place. Oh wow it's called Pizza Place. Wow. The irony. We looked WAY  overdressed for this place we we literally did not care because we're hungry so..

"Hey Maya?" He asks me
"Hm?" I say with a mouth full of pizza
"I'm sorry about all of that, you should've been having some fancy pasta or something but you're having pizza."
"Are you kidding?" I laugh, "this is the best date EVER!"
And he laughs and looks in his lap and then takes another slice of pizza.

Josh's POV

I may not have the same feeling for her as she does for me but I thought I gave her a bad date, and I really did mean my apology. But I guess she liked it..

The car ride home was hilarious, we were just jamming to 5SOS songs- call us lame, idek -Maya knew every single word to all of their songs. And that made me look like a dumb like a piece of shit.

"Should I take the longer way home?" I ask
"YEAH BECAUSE I DONT WANNA BE WASTING MY TIME ALOOOOONE!!" She sings, and I just laugh at her
"Hey, Maya?"
"SHES KINDA HOT THO- YEAH JOSH?!" She screams, trying to over power the blasting sound of 5SOS.
"This is probably one of my favourite dates as well" I say. And she blushes, play punching me in the arm.

After another like 30 minutes, we arrive home and everyone's already asleep and Maya goes in and out and gets changed in light speed, while I was still trying to take off these stupid uncomfortable shoes. She goes into the bathroom and takes off her makeup and all throes things and then I do he same and she decides to sleep in my room tonight again and we lock the door again so Cory won't come in and get the wrong idea.

We get in bed but before, I surprise attack her with a bunch of kisses and the last one was longer and more meaningful, she smiles and blushes and then we just cuddle up and eventually fall asleep.
