Thursday, May 2nd,

New faces, something you recognize so easily in a common environment, whether someone completely new, or one you haven't seen in a long time, it is always something that makes you pause. Not because of anything bad, just because of the simple fact, that it is new, and new is always different and exciting, right?

Now, let me explain all that, we got three new students, all of which are grade eights, well, actually two of them aren't really "new" they went to our school before and left, but suddenly, had this urge to come back for whatever insane reason. Our "familiar faces" would be Kathy, and yet another Evan, lets say this ones is Evan D. Evan D actually came a while ago, April 18th, but since I never really update because I'm busy, you have to deal with me being late.

Against all reasoning, he was put into Mr Kews class, don't ask me how that happened, everyone was certain he would be put in Mrs Kipes class. Now Kathy and the "new-new" kid, George, they got a little mixed up. Kathy was kind of a last minute announcement, we only really found about about her coming the Friday before, George, however, well, he was suppose to be in Mrs Kipes class, and everyone was all excited about a new grade 8 coming.

Kathy and George both arrived on April 22nd, the Monday, and I was pretty surprised that George ended up being put in our class, and Kathy in Mrs Kipes. However, I digress.

Now, I suppose I should talk about today, right? Yeah, okay.

We had a substitute today for the morning, until lunch. He was actually kind of weird, and the guys all loved him because he made them laugh. The only really good thing was that he let let us go outside 15 minutes into Math, which is our very first class of the day. Mr Arves said he wasn't suppose to take us out until half after, but, whatever.

Outside, Lexi, Sally and I did gymnastics, like, we actually made a routine. It was pretty fun, except after a while it was hard to land my handsprings because my legs still hurt a little from Gym yesterday, when, not only were we running, but while practicing long jump for our upcoming track and field, I had an epic wipe-out.

"Wipe-Out!" that's what I cheered after, like on the show!

In Science, our sub really underestimated our class' potential to understand dirty references. He said one thing, I literally covered my mouth in shock, then look over and all I see is Lexi and Cameron dying of laughter, which of course made me start laughing because of the look on their faces.

During History- which we had a sub for- I was called down to the office to go home, I was 99.9% certain it was my brother who was leaving and not me, but even through I told the teacher, she made me get my stuff together. Seems our secretary messed up the calls, since Link didn't bring any of his stuff down. I tried to convince my Mom to let me go, since I wouldn't miss anything anyway, but she wouldn't...

So, I had to walk back into class and the first thing I said; "I knew I wasn't being picked up..."

In French we started finished reading our fairy tale (since we started a fairy tale unit called, "Sous un Soleil Imaginaire" which means, "Under the Imaginary Sun"), so far, this unit is my favourite, it has tons of reading, writing, and I am really good at it!

After our independent reading (after last recess in case you haven't caught on), we started readers theatres, which is AWESOME!!!! We had to make a group of 4, with at least 1 girl or boy in it. Summer, Mary and I paired up, then we ended up having to go with Howard, and his helper.

Every other group had been given a Harry potter script, and I was excited because it was agreed that I could be Harry, then, in a twisted act of fate, our group was the only, and I mean only, ones given a script from "The Hobbit."

I wanted to be the main character, and so ended up being the Hobbit, through Summer and Mary weren't all that pleased, since the had as much, if not a few more lines then me, and they were Trolls! Not Internet trolls, actual fairy tale trolls.

However, I wouldn't trade my character for anything, not even the long lines of the Narrator, because a readers theatre is all about using your voice, and I can totally use my voice to make my character amazing!

So, I thought I would ask how you're doing? Good, well that's good, and if its bad, well, that's sad. :(

Any-who, vote and comment if you liked it!

PS: A big thanks to everyone who is reading this book, the people who vote sometimes, maybe comment, and even those anonymous readers, who never vote, or comment, but I know are there, because as far as I know, the 3 people who have told me are reading it, could not have gotten me almost 2200 reads! So, once again, thank you!
