Afterword,

You've followed me through my grade eight year, a year of drama, and not so much drama. Not everything you see in these entries are what went on, there was many more factors in my life. However, this book was for school, and that is where it mainly stayed.

I know I didn't update as much as I wanted to, but as most know, schoolwork is a little more important then a writing website, as much as I hate to say it.

This book, as much as it was a hassle to update, always seemed to brighten my day when I saw it, just the number of reads it had! I never could have imagined a book just meant for venting- or more likely, to help me remember little facts later- could have so many people reading it!

School is still incredibly important to me, and as I go through the book now, a few more 10 months later, it is incredible to see how much I have changed, and how much I have stayed the same, to see what I had hoped for in the future, and perhaps gotten, or perhaps not gotten. This really was an incredible journey, even with all its ups and downs, and I'm glad to have shared it with all of you.

At the moment I am looking forward to the newest chapter in my life; grade nine, and I'm as excited for it as I was for grade eight. Everything will change. From my class', to my schedule, even to my friends. Yet I'm excited none the less, this is a change that must happen, and I know I will still see the people I want to be friends with the most, and even make new friends.

Grade nine is coming, and I feel that this is just an incredible adventure that I need to face head on.

These past 10 years at my old school have been amazing, from when we were the small 250 person school with no air conditioner, to our schools renovation (addition that included a new air system!), that welcomed a whole new persona as another school joined with ours. New friends were made, and sometimes, it was hard to tell us all apart. We are absolutely connected, we may not have come from the same kindergarten class' or had the same teachers, or even seen eye to eye all the time, but do share a beginning.

I do know, however that as we journey forth into grade nine, I will always remember where I came from, and the people I met who directly, or even indirectly affected me. It was amazing to meet and know the people of my school.

I can't say these were the best four years of my life, because that's reserved for high school, but I can say these past 10 years have been a pretty good prequel....

So, this is the end (cue "Skyfall" by Adele!). This book has gone on for 10 months, and I can't thank everyone enough. Please vote, comment, or be the anonymous reader you are.

That is all.
