Monday, November 5th,
Well this entry is going to be all about Jenna! Because she is the only drama I talk about, I know, yadda, yadda, yadda, its not like it's boring drama!
So you all know how Mary quit lunch room helpers right? As well as that Jenna decided to take it for her and became my new partner. You should also know that I decided to do office with Jenna instead of doing it with Lexi, because I did office with Lexi for most of the year last year, as well as that Jenna told me she didn't know anyone else who was doing it, and that she didn't want to do it with someone that wasn't her friend.
But after first recess, literally right when we were walking in the doors Jenna said, almost as an afterthought, "Yeah and I'm quiting office and lunch room helpers." She left it till the last minute because she knew I wouldn't be able to find anyone to do it with me. Lexi wasn't here, so I couldn't ask her, and Mary refuses to take lunch helpers for me, even though she promised she would when I had office!
So by lunch I was able to convince Mary to take lunch room helpers on the premises that she never had to take it again, I never promised.
I walked down to the office, and lo and behold! There was Jenna telling the secretary that she was quitting office. She turned to me when I walked in and said, "So, did you find anyone to take it with you?'
I quite snidely if I must say, said, "When? Between the end of first recess and now? There's nobody I could ask." Then out came the vice-principal, Mrs C, and asked what the problem was, even though I'm sure she heard my last remark, and she likes me better then Jenna anyways.
After we- I- had explained what went on, Mrs C pulled Jenna into her office to talk to her, she came out and in a sulking voice said, "I have to do it today, and then find a replacement for the rest."
We sat there for half the time, then she abruptly said, "I'm going to the washroom," and for some totally strange reason, I knew she wouldn't be back.
Yet, lo and behold, she was.... after 10 minutes and with a grade 7 girl she knew I disliked, she was all snotting and told me that the grade 7 would be taking it with me, then strolled off.
I am soooooo asking Lexi to do it with me when she comes back!
Oh, we got a new student in our class, she moved from Jenna's class (a lot of kids have), her name is Sally, and she's a grade eight. I'm somewhat friends with her.
Its nice having someone new in our class, plus she sits on the other side of Mary, so now our section of the classroom is 6 girls and 2 boys, Cameron and Evan V, who is soooo noisy!
